Last year Putin had a wildly successful Africa/Russia Conference in St. Petersburg. Since then the French imperialists have been given the bum’s rush right off the continent (the biggest reason Macron’s panties are so wadded up). The US is getting the frigid shoulder too. Niger just kicked us out and took our new $100 Million dollar drone base.

Global South, the Islamic World (loves Putin and his Palestinian stance), BRICS+, not to mention any traditional cultured nation (everyone but the West) seeing Russia as their only protection from globohomo world hegemony, all combine to already make it the West vs. the Rest.

I agree with what you said for most part except that Putin is a thug. Whoever is asking for his protection is asking for it.
