Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy announced Thursday that he has raised $1.5 million for the family of slain NYPD officer Jonathan Diller – after he vowed to match contributions.
“Thanks to everybody who donated. We raised 750k. With the matching of the funds that brings the total to 1.5 million that will go directly to the family,” the outspoken media personality wrote on X.
Earlier, he wrote that he’d “match whatever our total raised through midnight today is.”
The 31-year-old cop was shot and killed when a routine traffic stop in Queens turned into a shootout with alleged career criminal Guy Rivera, 34, on Monday night.

Trump called the family after it happened. Family invited him to visit. Biden/Obama/and Clinton are having a fund raiser today. Last I heard Biden has no plans of attending matter of fact I don’t think he even called the family. I heard the family has told NY officials NOT to show up at funeral.

Hochul closed five prisons in New York State in 2022. She’s planning to close five more this year. Of course crime isn’t down. What is down is arrests, because laws aren’t being enforced, and criminals are being given a pass. A crime doesn’t become a statistic until there is a paper record of it. That’s how they are getting away with saying that crime is down.
If the RAT NY politicians who pass no cash bail laws, along with their RAT compatriots in the D.A.’s office, the Attorney General’s office, the Judges, and those responsible for giving the orders to the NYPD to not enforce the laws, were held criminally accountable for the crimes they allow these violent offenders to continue to commit, there wouldn’t be any criminals released back on the street.
thats gotta be the cutest dog ive ever seen.....plus Dave raised over a quarter millions dollars for the animal rescue that saved Miss Peaches....now Miss Peaches lives in a 20 million dollar Florida mansion right on the ocean.
Portnoy is a real piece of work. The guys does an outstanding job lifting up the little guy. I believe he raised $40-50 million for small business that were harmed by the Covid shut downs. Much of it went to small pizza joints. He is legendary now in the pizza industry.

Im not gonna lie..i was a little hesitant when i first read what he was doing in adopting her...but i was wrong, she is an absolute angel. I guess hes getting offers from all over for her to sponser pet products...shes so damn cute, she could become HUGE.
