They must not have grown up during the cold war. As a kid my friends and i were resigned to dying in a mushroom explosion. I grew up smack dab in the middle of 3 military bases. One was a 24 hour B-52 alert unit. You could hear the engines spooling up at all hours of the day and night. Was it the first friday or last friday of every month? Civil defense would test the air raid system across the entire region. Scary scary times.

Because they think of US citizens as workers to produce weapons and cannon-fodder to wield those weapons. These politicians do not have to endure the suffering of a conflict. Like lots of people on the Left, they do not have to live in the world that they create (or strive to create). They get to live in gated (and heavily guarded) areas secluded from the cultural wasteland that results from their nihilistic pursuit of power.
Cuz it will kill off young men
Make billions for a few companies.
Billions for a few people.
Will lead to land and property takings all around the world
And will let The Winners reset the world order the way they want it to be.

Russians aren’t our enemy, Communists are our enemy. They are here now. The US Deep State wants us to think Russia is our enemy. Why? I’m no expert, but I’ve been around a while and this seems obvious to me.
1: The Deep State needs an enemy in order to justify massive defense spending and usurpation of rights.
2: Russia used to be run by commies, so that threat lingers with Boomers.
3: Russians are white. It is better to have a white enemy to avoid cries of racism.
4: China is a much greater, if not actual threat. See 3
5: Russia is all over Ukraine, the global left’s money laundering headquarters.
If Washington enters the fight more openly, it does so as the enemy of a free republic, and it needs to be treated as such. Russia was America's imperfect ally in WWII, and it can be again in WWIII - if America is willing to fight the elites in the capitol district who treat it with contempt.
I honestly could care less about Russia. They are completely irrelevant to my life and to the lives of nearly everyone on the planet. They can sit up there and drink their vodka and breed themselves out of existence for all I care.
However, once they started invading peaceful nearby countries with the intention of expanding their territory, they have earned my hatred for disrupting the peace of the world.
It is ridiculous that 1000’s of innocent people have to die so that Putin can feel better about his tiny penis by enlarging the map of what territory Russia controls.
