Trump got “played” by Fauci. They manipulated his germophobia and ego.
Trump was great his first three years of his presidency. But he flunked the greatest test of all, the coronavirus pandemic. He was right with the big picture, that's not the issue. The problem was that he got "played" by Fauci like you said. So that's why I voted for DeSantis in the recent primary even though he had already dropped out. I'll vote for Trump in the general election but he's not my preferred candidate.
