Am I The Only One – Aaron Lewis
Too bad the 112 who voted against this sham of a bill didn’t have little American flags with them to wave. That would have been a good visual.
This obsession with Ukraine is very suspicious. I am anxious for the truth to come out....I should live so long.
“Miss Cottonball! How did the Pigeon Forge outing go???”
I haven’t gone yet - waiting for my eyes and arms to feel better. I don’t want to be 2 hrs away and wanting my ice bag or eye heat mask. I’ll take my ice bag with me, just in case! but it can be drippy - don’t think my neighbor would like that in her car. The good thing is she likes to drive, and I hate it - a perfect friend for me!
a buffet!
perfect for a rainy Sunday morning
My big question is how can we be giving away these HUMONGOUS amounts of money if we are in such an overwhelming deficit?
There isn’t any money to lend.
“Instead, they are an accelerant on our demise.”
perfectly put!
This is why Trump will win in a landslide, on top of all the cheating.
SO they have to have some plan to stop the election
There are sooooo many interesting tidbits re: Annie Oakley’s life.
After my Early May trip to Ohio I’ll look at library for some biographies

That would’ve been good.
It’s shocking only 112 are not corrupted
Remains of Day
Saw movie~~ did not read book
Excellent flick. Excellent cast!
I was a sucker for ANY MOVIE with Christopher Reeve in the cast
I’ll be going to laundromat Tuesday and that little ditty will be having me be there with a silly grin the whole time as I observe people and situations

JUST A FEW HUNDRED PUBLIC SERVANTS TRYING TO SCRATCH OUT A LIVING...
I suppose they could still pull it off, except nobody would report it. I would even suggest they get little flags they can attach to their little desks (or whatever they sit at) and keep them there every time they’re in chamber. A constant reminder of the reason they were put into the position - America First.
I was surprised it was as many as 112 lol. I think we’re seeing some results of the Epstein operation.....it’s the exact M.O.
My wife is addicted to AGT too. I find it quite painful to watch some of it, plus the overly flattering praise of some obviously not so good talent. But, there certainly is some gems in each batch, the ones I like to win rarely do.
That’s about it, IM. A great big money laundering operation, as well as sex trafficking, organ harvesting, biolabs....the whole corrupt package.
I just wish Russia, if they’re going to win anyway, would hurry up and do it and put an end to this criminal operation. Frankly, I don’t care if they take part of Ukraine.
Happy Lords day to all!
Once I get my hearing aids I’ll look forward to many things. Returning to church is one. A real building. Local people.
Streaming services has been a blessing for many but I miss the personal touch. Friendships. Social events pot lucks Bible studies/small groups
I tried attending first year. Heard absolutely nothing and post service attempts at conversations an embarrassing washout.
There’s a great conservative church 1/4 mile away.
I haven’t ever watched the actual AGT /BGT programs. Just get what I suspect are the best of best via videos n YouTube.
The judges panels are half the fun
Jesus was a Jew. Anyone who has been a student of scripture understands the silver thread from Genesis to The Revelation of the significance of the Children of Israel
Interesting thought by Twain
~~*~~
“If the statistics are right, the Jews constitute but one quarter of one percent of the human race. It suggests a nebulous puff of star dust lost in the blaze of the Milky Way. Properly, the Jew ought hardly to be heard of, but he is heard of, has always been heard of. He is as prominent on the planet as any other people, and his importance is extravagant out of proportion to the smallness of his bulk.
His contributions to the world’s list of great names in literature, science, art, music, finance, medicine and abstruse learning are also very out of proportion to the weakness of his numbers. He has made a marvelous fight in this world in all ages; and has done it with his hands tied behind him. He could be vain of himself and be excused for it. The Egyptians, the Babylonians and the Persians rose, filled the planet with sound and splendor, then faded to dream-stuff and passed away; the Greeks and Romans followed and made a vast noise, and they were gone; other people have sprung up and held their torch high for a time but it burned out, and they sit in twilight now, and have vanished.
The Jew saw them all, survived them all, and is now what he always was, exhibiting no decadence, no infirmaties, of age, no weakening of his parts, no slowing of his energies, no dulling of his alert but aggressive mind. All things are mortal but the Jews; all other forces pass, but he remains. What is the secret of his immortality? “
Mark Twain - September 1897
I thought of your housemate’s church when I read this one lol.
Bible in a Year :
Food gained by fraud tastes sweet, but one ends up with a mouth full of gravel.
Thieves in Germany stole a truck’s refrigerated trailer filled with more than twenty tons of chocolate. The estimated worth of the stolen sweetness was $80,000. Local police asked anyone who was offered large quantities of chocolate via unconventional channels to report it immediately. Surely those who stole the massive amount of sweets will be facing bitter and unsatisfying consequences if they’re caught and prosecuted!
Proverbs confirms this principle: “Food gained by fraud tastes sweet, but one ends up with a mouth full of gravel” (20:17). Things we acquire deceptively or wrongfully may seem to be sweet at first—seasoned with excitement and temporary enjoyment. But the flavor will eventually wear off and our deception will lead to our being left wanting and in trouble. The bitter consequences of guilt, fear, and sin can end up ruining our lives and reputations. “Even small children are known by their actions, [if] their conduct [is] really pure and upright” (v. 11). May our words and actions reveal a pure heart for God—not the bitterness of selfish desires.
When we’re tempted, let’s ask God to strengthen us and help us remain faithful to Him. He can help us look behind the short-term “sweetness” of giving in to temptation and guide us to carefully consider the long-term consequences of our choices.
Reflect & Pray
When has temptation led to bitter consequences for you? How can you remain faithful to God?
Dear God, I need Your strength to fight temptation and remain faithful to You.
