PHOENIX - We have learned that millions of dollars have been raised to completely change how Arizonans vote in primary elections.

The plan, which still has a few hurdles to overcome, aims to do away with separate ballots for each party. According to a statement, supporters have filed the plan with the Arizona Secretary of State's Office, and has launched their effort of gathering signatures to qualify the measure for the November 2024 ballot

I kind of wonder if this is a snake in the grass. The ACLU is all for it, one of the supporters is Terry Goddard, Democrat, the liberal press out here otherwise known as the Az Republic is all for it, and a woman came up to me in a parking lot where I was grocery shopping looking to get my signature on it. Looked pretty much like your standard well to do Democrat lady, the shopping store was in a rich section. I asked her if it was something for the Democrats, she would not give me a direct answer and claimed oh the Republicans like it too.

they want non-partisan primaries, like california has and they want to allow for ranked choice voting like Alaska now has.

Both are tools to bend the voting towards the results of a one-party state - the Dims.

We were approached last weekend in Downtiwn Chandler to sign the petition. We were told this was for “Republican registered voters” we were skeptical and looked at the wording and it mentioned open Primary and I knew it was a Democrat supported issue. Unfortunately I saw people sign it without reading it. If it gets to a ballot the dumb voters in AZ will pass it. Ugh

I think we in Arizona need to avoid it like the plague. Whatever they call it, it is
still Ranked Choice voting. Just another way to muck around in the voting process.

I understand they are pushing this all over the country and hope to have it in place for the 24 election. What could go wrong?

Yes.spread the word. It is why I put this here. I read they got twice the signatures they need to get this on the ballot. I can just see people not knowing about it and thinking, ‘oh yeah, fair elections’ I’m for that and voting it in.
