A 64-year-old New Jersey man who operates a Trump RV was brutally beaten with a hammer on Friday and airlifted to a local hospital in critical condition.
Rocky Granata of Edison, a beloved father and grandfather, was well-known in the region and across the nation for his Trump RV.
Granata attended Trump rallies, traveled across the country in his Trump RV and sold merchandise.
The suspect, Michael Gonzales, 36, was charged with attempted murder.
The Asbury Park Press reported:
A 64-year-old man from Edison was hospitalized after he was struck with a sledgehammer during an attack at Crown Tire on Route 36 in the Port Monmouth section on Friday, according to police.
Michael Gonzales, 36, of Philadelphia, was charged with attempted murder. He was detained by witnesses at the scene and taken into police custody upon their arrival, said Middletown Deputy Police Chief Paul J. Bailey.
The victim suffered “significant injuries to his head” and was taken by helicopter to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, Bailey said.
An investigation has determined that Gonzales struck the victim in the head multiple times with a hand-held sledgehammer, Bailey said.

I have no idea whether he is a citizen, legal immigrant or illegal alien. But he is being called Michael, not Miguel. Lots of people with Spanish surnames are native-born US citizens. Lots of Puerto Ricans in the NYC area who are citizens by birth.

CHOCOLATE CHIP CAKE INCLUDING HALFS
INGREDIENTS
2 or 1 cups flour
1 1⁄2 or 3/4 cups sugar
2 or 1 teaspoons baking powder
1 or 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1⁄2 or 1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1⁄4 just a bit more than 1/2 cups sour cream
3⁄4 cup margarine or butter or 6 tablespoons, softened
1 or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 or 1 eggs (if one egg, w/ a small amt of milk)
1⁄2 or 1/4 cup sugar
1 or 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 or 1/2 (6 ounce) package chocolate chips (mini or regular)
DIRECTIONS
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease (not oil) a 13 x 9 or 8 x 8 (for half) pan.
In large bowl, combine first 9 ingredients.
Mix well by hand or use a mixer at medium speed for about 3 minutes.
Pour half of the batter (about 2 1/2 or 1 1/4 cups) into the prepared pan.
In separate small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon.
Sprinkle half of the sugar mixture and chocolate chips (1/2 or 1/4 cup) over batter.
Repeat with remaining batter, sugar mixture, and chocolate chips.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Kind of a hassle, but well worth it! (I always add more salt than the recipe says - baked goods taste better with an extra dash of salt in my opinion.)

Because he attacked a Trump supporter count on him being on the streets again. But I believe it’s time for citizens to rise up and hunt him down like a dog and if you can offer him the same treatment that he did to the injured 64 year old man. Enough already we need to start defending ourselves and defending patriots as well.
