I was about 7 miles from Kent State when that happened. My dad slept on the couch with a loaded shotgun during the riots.

I was ten years old. Made quite the impression on me.

The kids today don’t get it. Act of Civil disobedience by nature have consequences. They don’t understand the second part of the deal.
