A group of January 6 defendants has reportedly filed a class action lawsuit against 21 Capitol Police officers and others for millions of dollars in damages.
Defendant Jake Lang told Real America’s Voice on Friday that the group of more than 78 defendants filed the lawsuit, according to Newsweek.
He told the show, “I got shot in the foot with a rubber bullet, other people were bludgeoned nearly to death, hit with chemical spray and had long-lasting lung effects and so… we are now serving 21 defendants…Capitol Police officers, Capitol Police officials.”
Lang turned 29 on April 7 — his fourth birthday behind bars without a trial. He posted on X:

Lang made a conscious decision to not proceed to trial. He could have done that by requesting to "detach" the 1512(c)(2) charge while that is being taken by the Supreme Court in Fischer and proceed to trial with the remaining charges.
That's because Lang is on film trying to hit police with an aluminum baseball bat - he actually landed a few hits..

How can no court in America not see the violations of the 4th and 8th amendments here and sit silent for all these years? What has happened to us? Sue these officers into poverty and homelessness so that they and their families live in a row of tents out by the tidal pool. Let them wake every morning to see the momuments to Washington and Lincoln and think back on how they sold out their country giving and enforcing a mass of illegal orders that day in January.
