BREAKING: Speaker Mike Johnson just inexcusably voted against the American people and his voters by casting the tie-breaking vote 212-212 to defeat a FISA 702 amendment requiring a warrant to spy on Americans.

This is how the Constitution dies.

Brought to you by the House GOP.

Sounds good to me. What was the pro-Hamas supporter doing communicating with the foreign national in the first place?

We will have a new President this November who would vote against such a measure if it comes up again.

There are all sorts of reasons why an innocent citizen might get swept up in an investigation. Think about it a little more.

I just saw where some software company won a lawsuit of $240+ million against Amazon for patent infringement. Turns out that Amazon unknowingly created their own search functions that were too close to the patented one (the software company agreed that Amazon didn’t steal or copy anything).

ANYWAY, the quote by Amazon went something like “This software allows us to do a very specific search and will find that specific piece of information that relates only to that search.” I guess instead of getting back 100,000 responses that might fit, they get back 10 or something that is quicker to find exactly what one is looking for.

I doubt that Amazon needs that, along with their dozens (hundreds?) of server farms just to sell and ship stuff.

According to Johnson somethings he learned in the “Skiff” caused him to change his mind. Since whatever he learned was highly classified, we won’t learn about whatever it was he saw.

He learned the FBI has video of him buggering little boys. THAT caused him to change his mind.

If Trump wins he will face just as much opposition from the Republicans as he does from the Democrats.

They are now maneuvering to give democrats a majority in congress just in case Trump wins.

does anyone really believe that his vote would have changed anything ?

No. someone who was given a "pass" to vote against because they are not in a 'safe' seat, would not have been given that 'pass'. When an unusually large deception such as this is going on, you can't really trust who voted against.

no it does not. Read what the section actually does before hyperventilating and jumping off a cliff.

There is always one supporter of the police state on every thread.

Mike Johnson is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. A total fraud.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. He has broken his promises on how he would conduct himself in the Office of Speaker of the House, on numerous occasions. I believe that makes him a liar; and, not someone who can be trusted.

OK and am I wrong that the left is controlling Canada now?

This happened in my own town when the democrats took over and the republicans were going on about everyone would see how bad the democrats do and then we’ll be back in power. The fact is they change the place demographically so you can’t defeat them any longer that’s what’s going on in America as well.

I don’t believe he’s interested in political power for its own sake; so I’ve tended to think that he really cares what’s happening to us and wants to try and change things.

I think he genuinely loves the country and the original American ideals.
