Why would this “split this site”?

Conservatives have always supported Israel.

There’s a difference as some of us dont like undeclared wars/conflicts when lives are at stake the US constitution is clear on this the elected Reps have a say.

It’s not a pick and choose document

“Conservatives have always supported Israel.”

They have also always blindly supported the war machine without any questions.

This is the real point, not Israel.

So much so it makes me wonder how many are financially invested in the war machine and care more about their stock dividends than any common sense of it.

Some issues seem to split Free Republic into opposing camps.

Many Freepers are against aid to Ukraine, based on the idea we should avoid foreign entanglement, and that the conflict there doesn’t affect America.

Other Freepers talk about how Putin is making moves like Hitler did before World War II ,and if we don’t stop Putin then Putin will invade other countries, just as Hitler did and Trigger World War 3.

Similarly some Freepers think we have no business aiding Israel, because they don’t see the conflict in the Middle East as affecting America.
