Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that President Joe Biden telling Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to respond to the attack “encourages Iran.”
Anchor Jake Tapper said, “We’re waiting to see how is your response to this attack. Iran is already warning that any Israeli retaliation will be met with a more severe response from Iran. You called this the most dangerous moment for the Middle East since 1973. What do you think Israel should do?”

I wonder how much material aid Biden promised Israel to forestall a response.
I can certainly believe that the Biden administration would try to persuade Israel not to respond. However, as is well known, public pronouncements by governments are usually not aligned with private communications.
Doing nothing has never stopped anyone from pressing an issue. Voicing differences only works if the other person is listening to what is being said and really cares. Both statements, in reverse order, are exactly what needs to be pondered, and, unfortunately, both apply.
With islamic driven theology you don’t have a choice if you don’t physically stop it. They will continue to come after you until they own you. Then they will use you to own others in ways that are still immoral and ungodly. And that’s the answer to the problem. Turn the other cheek as Israel has been doing for generations, and then defend yourself by stopping the attacks with it being their decision. And that takes horsepower, not kumbaya. They sing by a totally different “god” and invite the rath of other peoples’ Gods.
