I admit I have long since lost interest in this story, if I ever had any. Except for one thing: I find it really hard to believe that a live round would be anywhere near and stage firearm. One would think OSHA, if not common sense, would be all over preventing that.
She’s the fall guy for Baldwin.
A scalp to sacrifice to protect the rich and Democrat.
Looks like an entire cascade of stupidity with actors and crew playing with a functioning pistol. Apparently not one of them ever learned the cardinal rules of gun safety. Just a pack of morons acting like morons. Something bad was bound to happen. The responsibility starts at the top. Gutierrez was incompetent, but who put her there.
Then there’s the threats and bullying that has come to be expected from that lunatic Barrwin. A toxic environment and an untrained incompetent armorer. Who hired her? Why was all this tolerated? Because they are Hollywood culture arrogant idiots.
Please, can anyone explain how the prosecutors knew the above. I know that FIB is allowed to bug anyone and everyone, but I still thought that there existed a client-lawyer privilege. But here it appears that the prosecutors acknowledge that they listened in on the conversation between the accused and her lawyers.
Very Stasi-like IMHO!
The producers ( think Baldwin) who hired this unqualified person should get the sentence. Also the oblivious actor (think Baldwin) who pulled the trigger.
Who put a real bullet in the gun?
Why were there live bullets on the premises at all?
She must not have inspected again just before the fake ‘shooting’ scene.
urely she would have known she would get time.
Mysteries do happen.
Happy Freedom day, Alwix!
Court tv is reporting during her jail house phone calls she was blaming everyone but herself AND was disparaging the jury for finding her guilty.
All that info not only got back to the prosecuting attorney but also the judge set to sentence her.
The prosecuting attorney stated she wasn’t sure what sentence she would request, when she heard all that she recommended the max and sure enough the judge gave her the full 18 months.
Moral of the story.....1st rule of bein’ in a hole is STOP DIGGING.
OK, partly an answer to my question above, but how did Court TV know? And isn’t that hearsay unless a witness steps forward?
“How much did the azho that shot the director get?”
Trial in July.
“I recall her saying it was the prop supplier that accidentally let live rounds get into the collection of dummy bullets.”
No excuse.
“Don’t forget...it had to be in the right place to be the next one out.”
We don’t know how many times AB may have cycled the chambers.
Jailhouse phone calls are always recorded.
The kind I’m referring to are face to face calls inside the jail with glass between the inmate and visitor not outside calls.
“One would think OSHA, if not common sense, would be all over preventing that.”
OSHA does not have the manpower to have inspectors at each jobsite.
” but I still thought that there existed a client-lawyer privilege.”
Not for phone calls from your cell.
Thanks! Then we have to assume it was an inside face to face call. I assume people in jail are informed that their conversations are recorded.
“OK, partly an answer to my question above, but how did Court TV know? And isn’t that hearsay unless a witness steps forward?”
Prosecutors have access to phone recordings.
Thanks, but I find that quite horrific.
Hasn’t gone to trial yet. July......................
“I assume people in jail are informed that their conversations are recorded”
Certainly....but we’re talking about a person that when the judge ordered her “remanded in custody” after being found guilty she had to ask what that meant.....so being dumb enough to run her mouth on the phone in jail really isn’t all that surprising......to me at least.
