PORTLAND, Oregon — A group of protesters temporarily blocked all southbound lanes of Interstate 5 Monday morning, about a mile north of the intersection with Beltline Highway, between Eugene and Springfield.
Photos show people were locking arms in a line across the interstate, some holding Palestinian flags, and law enforcement personnel were at the scene.

True. The cops there positioned themselves as a 2nd layer of resistance on behalf of the insurrectionists.

DOES NOT give these people the right to impede other
people’s rights to free passage. It doesn’t give them
the right to blockade or occupy a government building
either.
I would say that the rights of free passage probably go back
to colonial days. Blockading a road is a low level act of
rebellion. These people should be subject to moderate
periods in jail or prison.
These are spoiled little brats, and adults who never
advanced into adulthood mentally.
I just stay out of the three western states. It’s just not worth it anymore.
On some Mexican holiday a couple of months ago they tied up city streets in Chicago. A 30 min commute turned into 4 hours for my son.
A few days later they had some Mexican woman on the news crying and angry that her son died because it took so long for emergency vehicles to arrive that night. Blaming it of course on the emergency folks.
Avoid the northeast, as well.

I won’t bend the knee to those fools. If I have to lie to the cops, then so be it. We’ll just inch towards anarchy. I’d tell the cop I was in an emergency, that I am having chest pains and need to get through to the hospital. Screw these morons. Enough is enough. I’m running through.
Is I-5 in that area a busy roadway? Not familiar with Oregon roads or traffic.

In Eugene the cops are on their side.
As long as they don’t walk through the Capitol wearing a MAGA hat.

Cops are there to shoot anybody who drives through the idiots protest. Notice their position.
That's a given. I pretty much avoid anything east of the Mississippi.
