An anti-Israel protester wept as a judge arraigned her in California on Friday after she allegedly threatened to murder public officials at a city council meeting.
Riddhi Patel, 28, sobbed as she pleaded not guilty to 18 felony counts after she directed comments to Bakersfield city council members and Republican Mayor Karen Goh for not backing a Gaza cease-fire resolution against Israel and for installing metal detectors at city hall.

It is difficult to know when the “tipping point’ occurs before it happens but when looking back at such an event you can find signs that it was about to happen.
Americans (no the world) have been dealing with protest since at least the 1960s. These protesters never seemed to be punished for their actions (which leads me to believe they have support within governments) while others are punished harshly (people praying outside an abortion mill for example).
But nothing stays the sames. Even great mountains can be eroded down to a small hill over time. I see a time when the people finally have enough and if their governments will not do something, they will (not that I am proposing this, just observing that history has plenty of examples of this happening).
As I understand Bakerfield is in the governorance of Republicans with a no nonsense DA. They are throwing the book at her.
I saw this on Instagram. She was pretty vile. No idea why she though she could make clear death threats in public with no consequences. Idiot.
Riddhi sounds like SHE may have some serious mental issues. SHE may need to go back to the craphole SHE and/or HER parents crawled out of.
Cities have no business wasting time on virtue-signaling resolutions regarding international affairs in the first place, particularly because often such local politicians run on a nonpartisan ticket where their political philosophy is obscure. If you act partisan, campaign partisan.

I have always said, if someone says they will kill you, they will. She was very obviously looking for the right time and place. She didn’t care how. She needs caned till she can’t sit down.
Yes, indeed (see my post #6). No one took the early Nazi threats seriously. And we all know how that turned out.
And now no one takes threats from the radical left seriously. Same goes for threats from Islam. We might get lucky, and dodge the bullet. But I don’t think so.

Recall the Maxine Waters "get in their face" advice? So many Democrats in politics as in academia think that they can scream and yell to get their way without consequences.
This stuff is not political protest. It is adult tantrums grown in the fertile soil of the American Left, and blossoming into this crap.
