It was Mama Ferrari’s in 1973. As a PFC making almost $300 a month a Mama Ferrari pizza was a payday extravagance. Spicy and delicious! When my wife was preggers I’d hit the door with the pizza and she’d hit the bathroom with the technicolor yawn. Hated to eat the whole thing by myself but I wasn’t about to let it go to waste.

And nobody nowadays knows that back in the day, in the US Military, we were paid below the poverty level.   I just checked and a PFC is paid almost twice the poverty level today.
