This is the moment a student dragged a fellow classmate to the ground and repeatedly banged her head against the floor in a horrific school fight.
The student, who was enrolled at a school in Florida's St. Johns County School District, carried out the brutal attack in February as a crowd students looked on, barking and cheering as the fight ensued.
District officials say the school 'swiftly addressed' the incident and took action against the attacker in accordance to the code of conduct's guidelines for level four offences, which are classified as the 'most serious' infractions.
While the school refused to specify what discipline the student received, the Governor's Office, which addressed the incident after video of the fight went viral online, said the pupil was 'removed from the school'.
The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office also issued the student a Juvenile Civil Citation, which is the state's diversion initiative, a department spokesperson told DailyMail.com.
The fight is the latest in a slew of brutal attacks on school premises that have made national headlines in recent weeks, demonstrating an apparent rise in violence against students and educators alike.
A survey by the National Center for Education Statistics conducted last year revealed that nearly 50 per cent of schools in America have seen an increase in fighting and violence.

Not long after I started HS, there was a group of 5 young ladies that surrounded a classmate of mine in between classes. She was very, very fair, with long curly red hair and freckles all over. We were all just going from one class to another. She was ahead of me in a mixed group.
One girl started calling her a ghost, and another wanted to touch her hair. In a matter of seconds all hell broke loose, and they were all punching her and pulling her hair. There was a lot of shouting. Amazingly, the assistant principal was nearby and called another teacher and together they pulled the 5 off of her. I grabbed her and took her to the bathroom and helped her wash up. She went home that day, and didn’t come back the next. The whole thing lasted about 3 minutes, except for helping her wash up. Her clothes were torn, her hair was a mess, and of course she was bruised.
So it happened back then, too. The only difference is that the men teachers got involved, and the trouble makers were given after school detentions. I learned quickly that it wasn’t safe to walk by yourself down the halls if you could avoid it. You needed to be in a group of 3 if at all possible.

The schools and media teach them to be subservient. Back when my high school integrated in Nashville in 68’ we hadn’t been tamed yet.
It saddens me. As a man, one of the things I always appreciated about females is that they had the power to be a strong moderator and positive influence on male behavior, often for the better.
Men and women together in a good match are far happier and more capable together than they could be separately. Each sex brings components to the table, and those components (surprise) often compliment each other perfectly.
Indoctrinating women that they don’t “need” men is just as counterproductive as indoctrinating men that they don’t “need” women.
It is undeniable that for certain people and situations, this is true, but to codify it in society has been exceedingly corrosive and destructive.
And I think many of these kinds of things are products of that.
Of course-this kind of thing did happen. I think it is an epidemic now, though.

How many FReepers are old enough to remember having “religious education” in school? People don’t believe it happened but it was a reality - in my school, it was every Friday during an afternoon class period. Protestant and Catholic classes; a Protestant pastor from town and a priest came from another town. I was and am Protestant but my friends were Polish and Catholic so my mother let me take classes with them. My father came from a large Irish Catholic family but didn’t practice his religion and my mother raised me and my siblings as Protestants...my dad’s youngest sister was a nun in the town where the priest came from so we had that in common...LOL
Our aunt taught in the convent school and my sister and I were threatened by our dad to behave OR ELSE he’d send us to her school....He was a farmer and it never dawned on us that he wouldn’t have been able to get us to/from her school about 15 miles away twice a day...He had our attention for awhile anyway!!! Every girl needs a sister to break the rules with.
She had some sort of musical instrument case.
As I said in the initial post this was not a fight, and I have no idea why the Daily Mail described it as such.
The blonde girl was just walking down the hall and was randomly attacked.
In the old days the boys would have put a stop to this, not stand around to hoot and bark.

Spin on their back to keep the criminal by their feet.
Kick the criminal’s shins. Keep kicking them. Don’t stop until they give up.

If the criminal attempts to jump on them, they should use their strongest muscles, their legs, to push the criminal off or to the side.
If the criminal goes to their knees, short/quick kicks to the face as they move in.
