Regardless of what we’d like to think, a sheriff has no control over federal officers investigating a federal crime. Plenty of sheriffs have gotten themselves in deep legal trouble by thinking otherwise.
Miranda rights, when read to you should always be understood as;
“You have the right to remain silent.
EVERYTHING you say will be used against you and
NOTHING you say will be used in your defence.”
Best to say; “I don’t answer questions. I want to speak with my attorney.”
The FBI must have too much extra time on their hands if they are responding to stuff like this.

I'm guessing George Soros and his minions hire people to 'find' what they deem offensive comments made by conservatives then pass those comments on to the FBI...
It's a twofer for white liberal 'elites'. It trashes conservative Americans and it eats of the time of agents who could be protecting the country from groups like thousands of Chinese 'illegals' - young men of military age - crossing the border into our country.,
The solution is NOT to complain but to do the same. If the FBI wants to be played for fools we should set up nonprofits,then hire people to comb over social media comments and turn in liberals, progressives, commies and middle east terrorists. Also we can focus on the sexual weirdo community and any other democrat groups.
If we did this corrupt thugs in the FBI would change the rules because they wouldn't want to 'waste their time' going after liberals who make what could be 'treats' etc.
