“America Last, America Last! – That’s All This Is – Every Single Day!”- MTG Delivers Speech for the Ages Prior to Ukraine War Funding Vote

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene delivered a speech for the ages in defense of the American working class on Saturday morning before the Ukraine war funding vote in the US House of Representatives.

MTG is a rare voice in Congress who actually defends the American working class from the uniparty regime.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: Mr. Speaker, I have an amendment at the desk.

House leader: The clerk will designate the amendment.

House Clerk: Amendment number 2, print it in part B of House Report number 118-466, offered by Ms. Green of Georgia. Pursuant to House Resolution 1160, the gentlewoman from Georgia, Ms. Green and a member opposed. Each will control five minutes. The chair now recognizes the gentlewoman from Georgia.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: Thank you, Mr. Speaker. My amendment today would drive the amendment, the bill for Ukraine, take each dollar amount in this act, is hereby reduced to zero.

You see, the United States’ taxpayer has already sent $113 billion to Ukraine, and a lot of that money is unaccounted for. This is a continuance of a sick business model that the American government continues. The federal government continues to fund the military-industrial complex This is a business model that requires Congress to continue to vote for money, to continue to fund foreign wars. This is a business model the American people do not support. They don’t support a business model built on blood and murder and war in foreign countries, while this very government does nothing to secure our border. The American people are over $34 trillion in debt, and the debt is rising by over $40 billion every single night while we all sleep. But yet nothing is done to secure our border or reduce our debt.

Inflation has driven out of control. Americans are suffering every single day. They can hardly afford their grocery bills. They can hardly afford gas in their car. They can hardly afford rent. Now, mortgage payments are well over $3,000, where they were only just over $1,700 three years ago.

The youngest generation, young adults, don’t even think going to be able to buy a home in their lifetime. Today in Congress, the most important thing that this body thinks should be done is to send another $61 billion to a war in Ukraine that the American people by 70% do not support. Mind you, this comes on the very heels of Monday being April 15th, Tax Day, where every single American had to scrounge up their money and send their dollars in to the IRS, or some of them had to file extensions because they weren’t ready and didn’t have the money to pay their taxes. But today this body says the most important thing we can do, no, is not reduce spending. That’s not it. Not to do anything to drive down inflation. Oh, no, we can’t do that for the American people. It’s not to secure our own border that is invaded every single day, every single day by people from over 160 different countries. No, don’t secure the American border. Let everyone in. We have over 1.8 million known God aways. We don’t know who these people are. And yet you have members of this body Talking big and tough about, Oh, we have to defeat Russia.

Oh, we have to protect Ukraine. But yet all of you are unwilling to protect the American citizens that pay your paycheck, pay the light bills in this building, and pay for this entire federal government. For what? For nothing.

Ukraine is not even a member of NATO. Ukraine is not a member of NATO. But the most important thing you hear in Washington, DC, is, ‘Oh, we have to spend Americans hard-earned tax dollars over to Ukraine and keep the money going to continue to murder Ukrainians, wipe out an entire generation of Ukrainian men so that they are widows, they are fatherless orphans, there are not enough men to work in their industries.’ Oh, but you really support Ukraine. Wow, what support is that? It’s repulsive. You know, shame on the American government. Shame on the American government. If we support our military, support our military. We should be funded to build up our weapons and ammunition, not to send it over to foreign countries to kill foreign peoples. If this body was worth what it claims to be what it is, every single one of us would be demanding peace in Ukraine between these countries, peace for these people so that no more of them have to die.

But you never hear anybody demanding peace. No, no, no, no. Peace is the last thing Washington wants because it doesn’t fit the business model. This is a business model that they say continues our economy protects American jobs. What a disgusting business model. We should have a business model that builds up our American companies and American jobs to serve American interests and our military and our government should care about protecting the national security of the United States of America and the Americans that pay their hard-earned tax dollars to fund all of this. America last. America last. That’s all this is. Every single day, America last.

House clerk: Generalwoman’s time has expired.

Marjorie Taylor Greene: I yield.

The House then immediately voted down her Ukraine bill in a voice vote. They wouldn’t even go on record with their vote.

They want their wars.

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene

MTG is a joke.

Marjorie Taylor Greene says she “hate[s] everybody” who supports Ukraine against Russia and then says she believes Putin wouldn’t invade another sovereign country

"The Ukrainian government is attacking Christians; the Ukrainian government is executing priests. Russia is not doing that; they're not attacking Christianity. As a matter of fact, they seem to be protecting it."

Russia’s War Against Evangelicals

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is accompanied with a strategic effort to repress, control, and crush religious groups outside of the Kremlin controlled Moscow Patriarchate, the Russian Orthodox Church. There are over thirty cases of religious clergy killed and kidnapped. 109 known cases of interrogations, forced expulsions, imprisonments, arrests. 600 houses of worship destroyed. And these are just the confirmed numbers, with the real ones in information blackout of the occupied territories will much likely be higher.

Evangelicals are targeted by the Russians disproportionally, and Azat’s story is typical for Russia’s systemic persecution of Protestants in occupied Ukraine. Protestants were the victims of 34 percent of the reported persecution events, and 48 percent in the Zaporizhzhia region where Azat was held. Baptists made up 13 percent of victims – the largest single group after Ukrainian Orthodox. Under Russian control 400 Baptist congregations have been lost, 17% of the total in Ukraine.

There’s a reason for this. Protestants flourished in the democratic decades since the end of the U.S.S.R. Baptists are the third largest denomination in Ukraine. The mayor of Kyiv between 2006-2012 was an evangelical. And for the Russian occupiers they are perceived as agents of America.

Petro Dudnyk, Pastor of the Good News Church, explains that the occupying forces "thought and spoke like this: you are the American faith, the Americans are our enemies, the enemies must be destroyed." Inside Russia Jehovah’s Witnesses are banned, as is missionary work for Mormons. Evangelical groups are constrained by laws banning missionary activity and labelling some groups as “undesirable organizations.” The U.S. Congress Commission on International Religious Freedom considers Russia as one of the world’s “worst violators” of religious freedom, on par with Iran and Pakistan.

Democrats keep using Russia as a decoy for Ukraine spending yet all the top players there have been busted for dipping into the till and a lot of the money ends up in off shore accounts and it ain’t just by the the Ukraine’s doing it.

From the looks of the chamber, they won’t even take a vote - it’s mostly empty.....maybe it’s scheduled for midnight?

Don't be silly they can just Deem it passed. Of course I used to be a C-SPAN junky and many times when voice vote was called they clearly lost but ruled the opposite.

I particularly loved the “the nays have it” or vice versa when it was clear there was no such thing....I’m glad I missed the vote...I was reading, then napping...more productive than anything going on in Congress.....

No, the FACT IS they’re Republicans who support the leftist, globalist and open lawless borders. Instead of assigning them phony sub-names in an attempt to deflect blame from this corrupt party, deal with the reality.

No she has history of being one of a minority of Republicans that represent their constituents and that gave a damn about the country as opposed to Republican establishment types that care first and foremost about enriching themselves by getting elected and remaining in power.

Anticipating Russian Spring Offensive, Kharkiv Residents Start to Flee

Nearly 200,000 city dwellers remain without power, while 50% of the region’s population still suffers from outages, officials say.

###

At CHP-5, a plant in Kharkiv that generates electricity and heat, the acrid stench of smoke still hangs in the air. Its damaged generator and turbine must be replaced, according to plant manager Oleksandr Minkovich.

The plant supplied 50% of the region´s electricity and 35% of the city´s heating, Minkovich said. It has been attacked six times since the Russian invasion began, but the latest barrage destroyed “any possibility” for power generation, he said.

Spare parts for the Soviet-era plant can only be sourced from Russia, and full restoration would likely take years, he said. But Minkovitch hopes Ukraine’s Western partners will provide modern technology to decentralize power in time for winter.

Without this, he said, he’s unsure how to meet demand.

To keep the lights on, power is diverted to Kharkiv from neighboring regions, but this process overloads the grid and causes unscheduled blackouts. Businesses rarely know when, and for how long, they can rely on the grid.

“We wake up every day and have no idea if we will have power or not,” said Oleh Khromov, the owner of a popular Kharkiv restaurant, Protagonist.

Of dozens of former residents, only 10 remain in Faichuk´s apartment block in Lukiantsi.

###

Before the war, 2,000 people lived in the village of Rubizhne, 14 kilometers from the Russian border. Today, only 60 remain, including Olha Bezborodova. But she is uncertain how long she will stay.

“It’s really hard. If we had light it would be easier,” Bezborodova said, cradling her toddler. She said organizations have helped her to fix her home, “but they (the Russians) are not finished, they are bombing all the time.”

That's easy...After the Trump era I'll be looking for another opportunity unless some radical event changes that party. It would have to be gutted.

So bad I now suffer from battered voter syndrome or BVS. Maybe you've suffered from battered wife syndrome and can relate. I won't going back for any more abuse. I've had enough of this America last con-job. They're killing our country. That bull s**t no worky for me anymore. No bueno.

Maybe you too suffer from BVS, but still have the need to keep going back for more abuse...I dunno.
