I remember a time when actors went out of their way not to insult their core audience. John Wayne was literally a California guy, right in the thick of the SoCal good life of the day.

You never saw him insulting cowboys or saying he disliked horses.

True, but if you keep paying them, they tend to talk people into following them off the cliff.

And when those views were different, nobody cared. Now, they, like Alan, want to use the law and culture to force you into their beliefs. Which means we have to react to their vapid comments.
