Congressional action on this issue is irrelevant. The administration will make sure the borders stay open regardless what congress does.
The only way to get border security is to elect a different president who actually wants border security.
The border battle was lost long ago.
At this point in time, we need income and property tax caps in the state and federal constitutions to safeguard the middle class. Campaigning for such caps will win votes and elections.
Yes congress can pass whatever laws they like, ultimately it’s up to the executive to enforce it, at its discretion.
