Today, We Received a Decision – the U.S. Assistance, Which Will Be Felt by Both the Warriors on the Frontline, and the Cities and Villages Suffering from Russian Terror – Address by the President 20 April 2024 - 21:30

Dear Ukrainians!

From early morning today, various regions of our country have been experiencing air alerts and Russian strikes. From the east to the south... Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk regions, Kherson and the region, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions. Missiles, drone strikes, artillery. There is a lot of destruction — houses, port infrastructure, and energy facilities. There are casualties and, unfortunately, fatalities.

My condolences to their families and loved ones. Throughout the day, our air defense system was in action, there were responses to Russian strikes, the rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and all the services performed their duties.

But this day is still a little different. Today, we received the long-awaited decision: the American support package we've been fighting for so hard. And it is a very significant package that will be felt by both our warriors on the frontline and our cities and villages suffering from Russian terror. The U.S. House of Representatives voted today.

I thank everyone who supported our package – this is a life-saving decision. I am grateful personally to Speaker Mike Johnson, to all American hearts who, like us in Ukraine, feel that Russian evil definitely should not prevail. I hope that the package will be considered in the U.S. Senate and submitted to President Biden’s desk quickly enough.

We appreciate every manifestation of support for our state and independence, for our people, and for our lives that Russia wants to bury in ruins. America has shown its leadership from the very first days of this war. And this kind of American leadership is crucial for the maintenance of an international order in the world based on rules and predictability of life for all nations. We will certainly use American support to strengthen both our nations and bring a just end to this war closer – a war that Putin must lose.

And I thank the entire Ukrainian team, everyone who works and does everything to bring this outcome closer. I thank all the representatives of our state, all our diplomats who are working to increase the support for Ukraine, all the representatives of the public sector, every volunteer, all the friends of Ukraine. I am grateful to my team. The world unites for Ukraine when Ukrainians unite for independence.

And today I would like to honor those of our people who have shown their best in the aftermath of the Russian strikes over the week – helping people, protecting lives. These are the employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, our medical workers, police officers. Everyone who works on the scene after the hits. Everyone who rescues people from under the rubble, stops fires, and saves the injured. Thank you all!

I would like to mention some of them in particular... Dnipro: Denys Mikheyev, Artem Serha, Dmytro Nikolayenko – these guys are from the State Emergency Service. Vitaliy Arkhypov – an emergency doctor in the Dnipro region, Yevhen Holitsyn – an emergency feldsher. I would also like to mention the police officers: Oleksiy Bondarenko and Vitaliy Andriyanov. Thank you! Karyna Kolisnychenko – a dog handler from the Pavlohrad search and rescue unit. Thank you for every life saved.

Odesa, SES: Yuriy Sukhorukov, Vitaliy Telehus and Artem Kopechynskyi. Thank you, guys!

Chernihiv: Artem Lysenko – a firefighter, Vadym Avramenko and Maksym Zhylko – also employees of the SES in the region, as well as police officers Andriy Vovk and Bohdan Tkachuk. Thank you! I am also grateful to Natalia Nosenok, a nurse who really cares about people and helps them.

I am grateful to everyone who cares about Ukrainians, about life in our country, about their city, their community, about our entire country! And I am especially thankful to each of our warriors. To all those who destroy the Russian occupier, who hold the frontline and thus preserve Ukraine on the world map. We are doing everything to ensure that our warriors have as many opportunities as possible so that this war ends as soon as possible on our terms, Ukrainian terms.

Repeating Comment #157

Each of us have freedom of thought and of expression.
I am not here to dictate and impose my point of view on FR.

However, you do like to misrepresent and misinterpret Freepers merely because they hold a different political viewpoint than yourself.

Let us respect that each of us share mutual freedom of thought and of expression regardless of our differing viewpoints.

Once again, I stated your comments are libelous.

However, once again you need to get a grip on your imaginary speculations of a law suit. Frankly, I believe you know not what you do.

For discernment, ponder a compare and contrast review of your comments and mine.

BTW, I am sorry. I am unaware your ‘Nice comments.’

It lies about the legislation, undermining American security, while pushing Muscovite agenda

Last week, Congress voted to donate $61 billion of our taxpayer dollars to the Biden Campaign Fund via Zelensky.
Thank you for making it clear that you neither know nor care to know what is in the House Resolution and relevant House Bill, 8035.
https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/house-bill/8035/text

Instead, you simply repeat KGB lies.

Today (and every day), 10,000 more illegal terrorists, barbarians and/or future welfare recipients will enter the US through our unsecured border.
Has nothing to do with the foreign aid bill as it passed. Did you want the Senate Bill, which would have limited teh ability of the border patrol to hold invading illegal aliens?

Border security, homeless vets, the debt and deficit, trans, cats and dogs living together …

None of them existed before Ukrainian aid was given /s

Quite remarkable lol

kiryandil: "According to The Clown Bloe Joggs, The Russia has collapsed and imploded dozens upon dozens of times since the start of the Special Military Operation - in between crises, ruble crashes and economic crashes."

In my post #39 to you above, I listed five of Joe Blogg's most recent headlines -- read them again.
Like any headline, they are a bit hyperbolic, but they don't claim what you say here and the reports themselves are all very straightforward reviews of published economic numbers, many of them directly from the Russian government itself.

kiryandil: "Heck, his video from yesterday is titled "RUSSIAN Power Supplies Face Shutdown as Drone Attacks Target Power Stations & Energy Infrastructure".
It is always "Not Opposites Day" with your grifting Brit clown Bloe.
ACKCHYUALLY, it's the Ukrainian Power Supplies that are collapsing and imploding.
The Ukies are begging for power from their neighbors:"

So, first, obviously, you didn't watch the Joe Bloggs video, because if you had, you'd know your issue was addressed by Bloggs himself before he went on to discuss Ukraine's drone attacks on Russia.
The summary and money quote, possibly is this: "Ukraine is retaliating against Russia in exactly the same way Russia has been hitting them."

Second... didn't you once tell us you went to the Barnum and Bailey School for Logical Thinking, and that's where you learned so much about Clown Shows, and how put them on?
That could help explain why you are so confused on this matter.

The truth of it is entirely simple to understand for anybody who's not attended such august institutions of higher indoctrination as kiryandil did.
It's this, in a nutshell:

Mariupol, Ukraine, after Russia's seige, February - May 2022

  1. Russia outnumbers Ukrainians around 4-1 in population, perhaps 10-1 in GDP and several-to-one in terms of military hardware like tanks and fighter jets.
Russia's Black Sea Navy alone dwarfed anything Ukraine might put in the water.

  2. Russia's February 2022 invasion of Ukraine was (and remains) as brutal as it was unjustified, with their battle to take Mariupol, February to May, early-on illustrating the Russian use of mass destruction and unlimited civilian casualties -- ~10,000 according to Mariupol's mayor.

  3. From the beginning, Russian missile strikes inside Ukraine focused on civilian and infrastructure targets, including power generation.
These have severely degraded Ukraine's original facilities, forcing Ukrainians to seek alternative and sometimes innovative solutions.

  4. From the beginning, Ukrainians were restricted by western conditions from using western weapons to attack Russia itself, for fear of "escalation".

    Russia's Bessolov Severomuyskiy railroad tunnel
    in Buryatia, eastern Siberia,
    attacked on November 29, 2023.

  5. In recent months Ukrainians have used hundreds of home-made drones and other relatively simple weapons to attack Russia's infrastructure.
These Ukrainian attacks included, spectacularly, the Bessolov Severomuyskiy railroad tunnel in Buryatia, eastern Siberia, in November 2023, but more recently dozens of Russian oil refineries and other energy related infrastructure.

  6. So, one question addressed by Joe Bloggs in previous videos is: how much damage was done to Russian energy production?
It seems the damage was significant enough to force Russia to stop exporting certain refined oil products.
These new attacks reported by Joe Bloggs today are against Russia's electrical energy production infrastructure, rather than oil and gas refineries.
kiryandil: "Climb back in the Ukraine clown car with your buddy Bloe Joggs, and get the heck out of here."

Really?
So, you fantasize that you are the boss-man here, with the power to "fire" me?
Naw... I think you're the clown-power here, you're the clown-cop, and you'll need to show us your clown-badge before you start ordering anybody around, FRiend.

Clown-cop Kupcake kiryandil, reporting for duty on Free Republic, to make certain that nobody here dares stand in opposition to the mighty power of pro-Russian propaganda.

Protectionist?......... Protectionists?

We don’t need no protectionists.

America exports high quality products. Lots and lots of them. The world comes here to buy our stuff. We have really great salesmen that go all over the world selling their stuff. We have fantastic bankers that work to see it all comes about. We are a nation of traders and always have been.

Hell guy, we’re America. We don’t need no isolationist protectionists

aMorePerfectUnion: "ZEEPER FOLLIES PINGLIST!"

That is a 100% dishonest graphic, since it is you people who relentlessly attack any threads which are not entirely pro-Russia.

Nobody forces you to read any thread on Free Republic, but you mass assault pro-Ukraine threads, all the while pretending you are the ones being aggressed.

And whose propaganda school taught you such tactics?

tenmountainman: "You and others here think because we do not support sending American Tax Dollars to YouCrayne we are Ruzzia supporters.
We are not.
YouCraynee is as Corrupt as Russia."

You absolutely are pro-Russian, in the same sense as a man, standing by watching a murder or rape while claiming to be "neutral", is pro-murder and pro-rape.

And if you then claim that: "oh, but she was a prostitute and so it can't be rape, and besides, she deserved whatever she got", that make you as loathsome as any monster doing the actual rape and murder.

Oh look who came flying to the rescue. Mommy's Boy!

You and your mommy are experts in Copying and Pasting. Is it a trait that runs in the family? And such lengthy posts! Does the Ukrainian Ministry of Propaganda pay you by the word? Do they pay you extra for posting graphics?

BTW, are the files you and your mommy are compiling on pro-American FReepers growing since your globohomo hero Zelensky's latest grift?

You know, the Naughty And Nice List?

💀 Ukrainians die before reaching the front

In Transcarpathia, a mobilised man died of an epileptic seizure on the way to the training centre.

The mobilisation office assures that the accompanying officer gave first aid, called an ambulance and so on.

Another victory for Hero Ukraine! This new Billions of dollar gifts will win the day for Ukraine and the people of Europe! Didn’t you know all it takes is money to win wars? Another grant of cash and Russia is licked, they will pull back and let Ukraine join NATO and EU! Then all will be well and the uber-rich families who run Ukraine can become even Richer! They can rule as long as the US pays the bills (to restore The lands wrecked by evil Putin).
