Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said on this week’s broadcast on “Fox News Sunday” that Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-LA) aid package that included for Ukraine would not have passed the House without help from former President Donald Trump.
Graham said, “The Ukrainian military, with our help, has killed about 50% of the combat power of the Russians. This is the year of more. They’re going to have more weapons, but we also want them to have new weapons, ATACMS to knock the bride down between Crimea and Russia. They are going to have F-16s. So, this idea give up on Ukraine makes the world safer, if you pull the plug on Ukraine cause you don’t have enough capability. There goes Taiwan.”

Total nonsense. Trump hasn’t once wavered on thr border in almost 10 years. Not one time. He’s basically the only person who can be trusted on the border. As a matter of fact, if Trump somehow manages to win the election and gets to serve as President again i think it’s quite likely that in a year from now he’ll be fighting his own party on border and deportation issues. No way is anyone in government (with any real power) going to setup a glide path for Trump’s border policy. What you sre hearing from the Repukes right now is all BS because they know they don’t have to do anything.
And deportation, he didn't deport many. Excuses aside, people were let in, few deported. A lot of the problem is that he picked bad people, who didn't follow-through with instructions. His daughter, if I recall correctly, felt sorry for the illegal aliens and at one point that caused him to make a change of course. Anyway, goals evolved, promises make, some not kept. Take his point of cutting off countries that wouldn't take back deportees, such as India and China. End of day he didn't. And H1B, he sustained it, even increased it, and waved them going home during COVID. Bottom line, we need clarity and in the words of Reagan, Trust but verify.
What do you hope to gain by this endless series of negative posts about
Trump? Are you delusional enough to think DeSantis still has a chance at the
Convention, or are you simply trying to discourage enough right leaning
voters to stay home and let Biden slip in again?

Disingenuous at best. Trump’s threat to those who didn’t take back deportees was just that; A threat. They were cooperative and he didnt. That was south and centr America. Not India. While i wish he was tougher with Visas that was Congress passing veto proof crap which they always do when it’s not something the people want. Trump had to fight for every mile of the border wall. He put it where it was needed THEN he said he would extend it 200 more miles because the traffic was routed. Trump’s border was better than Bush, Obama and Biden because he tried, against all the pieces of trash in congress, to make it a border. I want him to be tougher still on the border and hopefully since much has already worked its way through the courts he can move faster. The Rats and Repukes used the courts to block the policy as much as they could during his first term. I. Sure they’ll do it again. He’ll be fighting them again in a year if we are so lucky.Bottom line, Trump agrees with the people on the border and that alone will be a major benefit. Btw ,Trump kept the government shut to build more wall and the Repukes, couldn’t get on CNN fast enough to say it wasn’t a reason to keep the government shut down.
Look at Ukraine and border funding. Ukraine aid and Ukraine border was never what most of us wanted.

Nothing? I remember a year and a half of complaints about heavy tariffs on both. The congress was also begging to removing negotiating power from the President by trying to prvent him from levying tariffs. It’s hilarious to hear people say Trump was too soft on China when for 4 years I listened to the opposite Argument from every virmin in congress. Cry me a river.
