If you rubes would have just fell in line 35 years ago and agreed to the drastic carbon taxes we were proposing, we could have touted this year's ice levels as proof our draconian energy use reductions were paying dividends.
But, no, you had to choose to do nothing and prove it was all a money-grabbing hoax.

And they measure sea level relative to the ice - right?
So how do they know which one changed?

In 1989 global warming was going to be so severe that by 2000 many coastal cities would be under water because of the melting of the polar ice {I guess that they never saw a pitcher full of ice and water and watched the ice melt}.
For my entire life the earth crazies have been gluing themselves to paintings, roads, buildings etc. in order to prove that they indeed, were crazy.
