Newsweek ^

Posted on 04/24/2024 10:22:52 AM PDT by USA-FRANCE

"It's of course impossible to know the real reasons for his arrest but this could be related to the revelations made by Navalny's Anti-Corruption Foundation that showed Ivanov and his wife in a pretty bad light," Kallioniemi said.

FBK alleged leaked emails from Ivanov's wife, Svetlana Maniovich, showed the extent of her family's lavish lifestyle, beyond what his official salary could cover, with some transactions routed through third parties, including Defense Ministry contractors.

Putin must have seen him as a challenge somehow. Just another statistic.

Like everything else in Russia, it’s Putin who profits.

Actually, I just vacationed in Crete. Tourism is down 30% without Russian vacationers. Under Putin Russia has had 5-20% growth every year. If you travel abroad, the absence of Russian tourists is very noticeable

This has been a big problem from the beginning and now it’s less tolerable. While he can get rid of the minister, the bigger problem is inside the officer corps itself, and getting rid of them is a much dicier proposition.

a lot of that budget goes to the Moscow deep-state elite's lavish lifestyles...

.. and a lot of those rubles make their way into Western economies by way of the purchase of luxury goods.

“C-17’s loaded with military supplies for Ukraine on their way to Poland right now.”

>>>>>>>>>>

And the Bradley tanks are already loaded on the trains as well, ready to leave Poland. This rearming Ukraine process is going very, very fast now. The American elephant has awakened! The Russian baby-bear poked the adult elephant for too long...

Lets kick some Neo-soviet behinds... :)
Invaders go home.

By the way:
I just sipped some nice french wine celebrating the fact that France has now overtaken Russia as the world’s number TWO weapons exporter. Not bad!
Putin has transformed France into a war production machine!

Thus, here is the new list of weapons exporters of the planet :

America First !
France Second !

Not bad, I’m satisfied with that.

"France has now overtaken Russia as the world’s number TWO weapons"

It's not hard for country like France to export its weapons when it's too chickenshit to use them itself in a war. Cuss on that. Also, you never told me how you felt about Russia taking away France's colonies ;)

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Absolutely.

It’s a win-win for the West. Parts of Russia’s war budget goes to buy luxury perfume from Paris... the Moscow elite deserves it... :). The more French perfume the Kremlin-boys (and girls) are buying, the less bombs Russia can afford.

You still have not shared your thoughts on Russia taking away all of France's African colonies. Burkina Faso - gone. Mali - gone. Central African Republic - gone. Niger - gone.

Does it give you the sads?

Here's an article to give you some of the background in case you're not aware of the problem France is having in Africa.

How Moscow chased France out of Africa
Paris is pulling back, under pressure from Russian disinformation and Wagner Group mercenaries.

Zeepers rhapsodizing about a few bottles of Frog perfume and desperately ignoring the news on the front lines where Russia moves ever westward. How unsurprising.

Now tell us about Putin’s hundredth case of cancer.
