Inching towards WW III. When will the big war come? I am betting on August 2024. I will go out in a limb and pick August 21st as the date for the war to start. Fighting in Belarus with Poland. What is your pick? I am thinking there will be an event—a US ship sinking or a test of an A-Bomb by Iran, or a terror attack in the USA. Some event (maybe a constructed one) to get Americans in a fighting mood. See you in the ration booklet lines Citizens. We must embrace the suck. Lots of Jobs will open up! Factories built! Rallies to attend, patriotism will be in style again. Churches full of worshipers. No more worries about genders or race politics. Many changes after the first defeats in Alaska as Russo-Chinese forces push south into Canada.
While certain people go on endlessly here about how crazy America is and all the awful things we are doing,
Reality is that this war is an absolute disaster for Russia. The only thing that can bail them out is total victory and taking over the manpower and resources of Ukraine.
Even then they may find themselves in possession of a very hostile country.
In any event this whole military adventure has been a complete debacle for Putin.
The corrupt and untrustable Ukrainians did not stop hitting Russian oil refineries when we asked them to (for Biden’s political advantage) so why would they not hit the interior of Russia?

Furthermore, this will undermine the thesis that the United States ever desired to push NATO to the very borders of Russia. /s
