The Wall Street bombing plus other immigrant criminal anarchists of the early 1920’s was the trigger for the 1924 Immigration Act.

Most Indians are well educated. Not in India where just the literacy rate is 76%. What is seen outside of India is the result of a national brain drain, the “cream of the crop”—and that’s not saying much.

Indeed. We need a mass deportations of all illegals, and an immediate end to border entries by people without valid visas - the pre-Biden policy. Instead, Biden is swamping Border Patrol in paperwork by making them process millions of illegal border crossers. The only silver lining is that his policy is leading some who would previously have voted Biden to either stay home or vote Trump. In April 2020, Biden was comfortably ahead of Trump. It’s April 2024. They’re even. Emerson 4/2020 had Biden up by 6. Emerson 4/2024 has Trump up by 3.

Note that Emerson nailed Biden’s 2020 margin of victory, pegging it at 5% in its final pre-election poll. Biden won by 4.5%.

At this point in 1980 Carter was still well ahead of Reagan.
But the killer was that ~80 percent of people felt that the USA was on the wrong track, and they eventually decided Carter was hopeless and couldn’t fix it. All Carter had was doubts about Reagan.
In Trump’s case, people know that he can do the job, and do it better than what has been since 2001.
The wrong track number is more like 70 percent already.

The key here is both men are known quantities, have done the job before, and we have comparables for the major pollsters for the same points in the election cycle. For Quinnipiac, Marist, Yougov, we have like for like polls for each pollster. And in each case, Biden’s margin is down by high single digits in 2024 as compared to 2020. Biden was up high single digits consistently in 2020. He is about even now. Given that weeks before the election, the pollsters overestimated Biden’s 4.5% victory margin by 4%, polling even with Trump now is not a good place to be.
Biden polled much higher in 04/2020 than he did close to the election. If 2024 follows that pattern, Biden’s numbers could start going underwater consistently. Trump’s decent showing in the polls is likely what’s driving his fundraising numbers. No one wants to give to a losing campaign. A winning one is a different proposition.

Plenty of those lux veh drivers could be upside down. Maybe but repairs to their cars are prohibitive so even IF the car had been long paid for, they're still high maintenance cost vehicles.
There's a world of difference between being behind the 8 ball financially because you're having legitimate problems and just financially irresponsible.

There’s a big difference between something being legal and something being right.
Abortion is legal, but it sure isn’t right.

Yes, I expect biden to continue to deteriorate, and may eventually crater.
There are always unexpected events in any campaign but I expect Biden can expect, on net, bad news from Ukraine and bad news from the Middle East.
The other thing he can expect is that the closer we get to election day, and the more likely it appears Trump will win, there will be an absolute flood of illegals as they try to get in before Trump can close the border.
That is just going to put more light on his biggest failure, and vulnerability.

Maybe but repairs to their cars are prohibitive so even IF the car had been long paid for, they're still high maintenance cost vehicles. You're right. But immigrants with similar backgrounds and sharing a common language will form networks. They'll use that network to find a mechanic to deal with to get a vehicle going again.

I saw the occupants. This was years ago, before the illegals really became an issue and they were definitely NOT immigrants, legal or not.
