We are hoping that there is some (small) areas in craters’ depths at the moon’s poles that never get sunlight on them.
This would hopefully allow some water to remain in solid form.

The Anderson Council would have been a cool name for a band.
They could have battled it out with The Association.

Putting up a notice on the dark side of the moon: “Attention: Aliens! Come on in! We have lots of guei with stupid brains inside soft skulls. Delicious! We are giving them away. Make great slaves, if you are not hungry.

I think NASA had plans for radio telescopes on the “dark” side in a few years. I hope Nelson is just spoofing the media on this one.

After I read thr title, I thought it might be a mecia misunderstanding and the speaker was trying to make a clever/funny Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon reference. But I give the drones in DC waaay too much credit.

The mineral composition of the dark side is different from the side that’s facing the earth. I believe that the Chinese are right, and are more likely to find minerals worth mining their.

Pink Floyd just popped into my brain when posting this insane story.
Hope everyone got a laugh out of it.
Now I can’t get the song “Eclipse” out of my head.
