Yeah, I had to wonder about that too, but we may never know the truth of the matter. I’ve seen girls wearing those little nothing skirts with skin colored nylon-type shorts that hug the skin. Give the allusion of not wearing anything even though they are! Cold hands could certainly have been felt through them...and granted the older woman would have thought she wasn’t wearing anything.
