This is blatantly unconstitutional. Defendants, as we all do, have every right to speak against the government, especially when they are being prosecuted by that government.

I saw an interesting survey of the last election for Ted Cruz here in Texas. They surveyed Californians that moved to Texas. Oddly they favored Ted Cruz. California has become much worse than 6 years ago. I would suspect the margin will be greater in the next election.

Pew Research is Center-Left, but they do make a real effort to be fair and accurate...
62% - Abortion should be legal in all or most cases

40% - Republicans and Lean Republican - Abortion should be legal in all or most cases
