Several hundred NYPD cops stormed onto Columbia University’s campus on Tuesday night to oust a pro-terror mob that illegally took over an academic building amid ongoing anti-Israel protests on campus.
The cops cleared out the group that barged into Hamilton Hall early Tuesday morning in a drastic escalation of the protest at the Ivy League school, according to police sources.
Dozens of Emergency Service Unit officers entered the Morningside Heights campus at 9:13 p.m., but were blocked from entering the barricaded building through the front door.
Several protesters appeared unbothered as they stood in the doorway with only a glass pane between them and the officers — as their comrades on the streets shouted “Pigs!”
That’s when the NYPD ordered its Mobile Adjustable Ramp System (MARS) to the second-floor window, sending in a flood of riot-gear clad cops carrying zip-tie handcuffs.
Within just 20 minutes, the cops made multiple arrests. The protesters — many of whom covered their faces with surgical masks or keffiyehs — were walked out of Hamilton Hall and loaded onto three NYPD buses.
Multiple demonstrators continued screaming anti-Israel sentiments, while at least one was seen crying.
The officers also stationed themselves in front of off-campus housing and were greeted with hostile shouts of “NYPD, KKK, IOF! They’re all the same!”
Columbia University issued a statement just 15 minutes after cops entered the campus, saying it “regretted” having to rely on police to clear the mess.

The real story is they are NOT charging anyone with kidnapping for the three employees. There are photos on British website showing them struggling against the invaders to try to get out but being held back. And quotes said they told them “let us go”, “let us leave.”
That is exactly like a girl and her mother being held in a home invasion or a man taken in a van and then held in an abandoned warehouse to see if they can get some money to release him.
These people of the group should be arrested and charged in court.
I’d prefer to watch it fester.
Except this is NYC. DA is DEI Bragg. Just read cops asked to remain on campus til graduation May 15.
