That's one narrative which a large number of people believe. There is another conflicting narrative which is believed by a different large group of people.

Just restating the one narrative over and over again expecting the other group to succumb to it is the definition of lunacy.

What you seem to be proposing is the "Greater Israel" solution. Maybe that is the correct, or the just solution, but it hasn't happened yet and will continue to be resisted by much of the World.

We can see a continuation of the present condition where Palestinian terrorists attack Israel followed by Israeli attacks on Palestinians. This tit-for-tat can go on for centuries. Maybe thousands or tens of thousands of people will be killed over those centuries. Maybe that's the best "solution" since there are millions of Israelis and Palestinians.

But as we saw this time around, there was a possibility that what was happening in Israel and Gaza could have exploded into WWIII if Iran and Israel had escalated their attacks beyond what they did.

It seems there are some people who are okay with this. They seem to think that something like that will signify the beginning of the End Times.

Even if the Bible can be correctly interpreted to show that the world will be utterly destroyed by nuclear war before Jesus returns, I don't think it is a very Christian thing to wish for it to happen.

Who gets the West Bank? Jordan? Jordan will never give the Palis what they want.

The PLO allied with Hamas and Hezbollah? Just how big an army are you going to permanently station there? And how does it not “oppress” the Palis any less than about 5x the situation with Gaza before Oct. 7? Because Israel is essentially indefensible in this day and age, with those pre-1967 borders. And, make no mistake: A Sadat or the King of Jordan can come to a reasonable accommodation with Israel, without Hamas-types involved. Hamas and Hezbollah and more importantly the mullahs in Iran will NEVER accept such a solution. The most you’ll ever get from them is temporary retreat and recover. Hamas and its buddies in particular are the worst parts of the Quran personified. You can’t use western type thinking or assumptions of “reasonable” behavior in any way, shape, or form, to evaluate how they will act. It’s like trying to assign what WE think of as human norms to fire ants.

Make no mistake either: Iran’s gov’t hasn’t the slightest interest in the wellbeing of Palestinians or Houthis or any of their other proxies. They are simply a tool to get to Iran’s goals, ONE of which is the destruction of Israel. Until there is a big time power swap in Tehran, there is no end to this. Maybe there is very temporary respite if Iran is kicked in the nuts hard enough, or can be made to think THEY are near destruction, but that’s about it. They are otherwise completely alien* to a western mindset. The mullas will (and do) tell us that themselves, proudly.

*Some would say “inhuman”, but again that is strictly from our own mindset. To an extent, it’s literally in their genetics.

(As an aside, how long does it take to breed a reliably vicious dog? 3 generations? It doesn’t take much because you are going back to an earlier nature. Much as with humans - our veneer is pretty thin.

Our “Western” (sort of) genetics are imperfect too, and likely devolving, but that’s a different and very long discussion. Tho’ I will restate my long held contention that if Europe heavily re-arms, as it almost certainly will if Pooty comes out so much as “even” in Ukraine” and the US fades further from the global scene, with or without Russia, Europe becomes the most dangerous region on Earth.)

The only real difference with Iran’s mullahs, vs., say, Hamas, is that the mullahs have bigger goals and may be more patient.

So, I ask again, is your peacekeeping army big enough to control Iran’s proxies (including the 150k missile inventory of Hezbollah) backed by the assets of Iran?

Don’t get me wrong. I wish a “peacemaker” army could work. But as long as Iran “is” as it is, it can’t.

The Israelis, at least most of them, understand. And they WILL use their nukes if sufficiently threatened. That is not a “narrative”.
