OXFORD, Miss. (WMC) - Palestine protests on college campuses have been sweeping the nation, and Thursday that movement made its way to Ole Miss.

A group of protestors wanted to make their voices heard but they were not as loud as counter-protestors who came to do the same.

“I believe that is just the most important thing for us to do right now is protect everything we stand for,” Ole Miss student Aubrey Grace said.

The protest was supposed to start at the University Circle but was forced to move after a group of students blocked off the area and said they were protecting the flag.

Good ole, rethink that please. Ole Miss students are for the most part middle class Americans who despise the anti-American protestors. It is their country, their flag and they want to protect it.

yes okay on that but Adolpho was pretty clearly heading in the war and genocidal directions long before he actually launched them. It was predictable, it was predicted— it was foreseeable, it was foreseen by many. (quite like the Iranian IslamoNazis today). Yet, USA industry kept building factories for Hitler, foreign capital kept pouring into Hitler’s Germany, and many politicians in UK and USA were advocating for appeasement, thereby enabling or speeding up his preparations to launch WW2.

I would say he made at least 2 big mistakes.
1. invading Russia (Russia has lots of patience and territory AND WINTERS to frustrate ground invasions)
2. murdering the Jews (from the Jewish scientists alone who managed to escape, the Allies were greatly strengthened through advanced electronics, missile technology, the atomic bomb, and more).
His two mistakes above were related in that his generals pleaded with him to release trains to carry troops and supplies to his troops on the eastern front. But he refused because he was using the RR’s to carry captured Jews en masse to his death factories, instead. This left German troops very under-supplied, even ammunition and food rations were made scarce. Had Hitler listened to his generals, his war could have worked out quite a bit better for him.

Yep. My suggestion when I saw this posted earlier on another board was that they should have sung Dixie to them instead. That would have REALLY pissed the Lefties off! LOL!

Yes, which is why Lindberg and the American Firsters perhaps were distractions. I think many of them had business interests with Germany.

Ironic how the South is now more welcoming to Jews than NYC, Pennsylvania and Kalifornia where most of us live.

They were in Dixie....and Leftists hate the South even more than they hate America in general.

Good points but invading Poland kicked it off before the invasion of the Soviet Union. If only Hitler had stuck to building autobahns, Volkswagens, Mercedes, etc and tapping the unparalleled engineering, chemical, physics etc and cultural genius of the German people, how different history would be.

Huh?? I don’t need to “rethink” anything. I’ve been to Oxford, lived in the south, and was commissioned to produce a TV documentary about the Lower Mississippi Delta and Faulkner’ estate there. This beautiful little college town is not insulated from the good ole boys there.

The Red Menace...the Antifa/left “protestors” of the time ...came first and Hitler’s movement was a reaction to that.

Correct. German Antifa came first. Rioting in the streets, violently assaulting anyone they declared "fascist". The middle class was scared and didn't see the government taking action to restore safety and order.

Until a decorated veteran of the Great War came along and inspired people to fight back, and organized his own organization to take back the streets.

Hi
Interesting

Could be

American capital flowed by the millions into communist China. And a good amount went into the Soviet Union, too. Plus USA and Europe have been financing Iran’s nuclear bomb building and arming of terrorist gangs.

There’s something about discrstprships that attracts capital. I’m not sure what ?
