Caroline Glick: The Jewish vote is up for grabs, and it may decide the US election
Arutz Sheva ^ | 4/5/24 | Caroline Glick

(JNS) A few weeks ago, a sermon by Reform Rabbi Ammiel Hirsch, the senior rabbi at the Steven Wise Free Synagogue in New York, shocked millions from that city to Tel Aviv. Standing at his pulpit, Hirsch delivered a stern warning to the Democrats.

Noting that he is someone “who is finely attuned to American Jewish sentiment,” Hirsch told Democratic elected officials: “Do not take American Jews for granted.”

Hirsch explained, “I have spoken to many American Jews in the past few months who have surprised me with their anxiety about developments in the Democratic Party, and their perception that it is becoming increasingly hostile to Israel, and tolerant of anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism in its own ranks.”

“Be careful,” Hirsch warned. “The results of the upcoming election do not only depend on Michigan.”

Many dismissed his remarks with a shrug of their shoulders. For decades, Republicans have asked conservative Jews to explain how it is that American Jews vote for Democrat Party candidates even though Republicans are so much more supportive of Israel. The question comes so frequently that most conservative Jews can give the answers in their sleep.

First, most American Jews see themselves first and foremost as Democrats or liberals, not as Jews. They love Israel, but it’s not really a voting issue for them. And second, the Jewish vote doesn’t matter because most American Jews live in deep blue states that will never tilt Republican.

fwiw this is all fr here

1)I find out there are far less jews in the country than I would’ve guessed.

2)I find out that they are heavily concentrated in deep blue states where their vote hardly matters at the federal level.

3)I find out that they vote Dem less than I would’ve guessed.

Conclusion idc who they vote for as it hardly matters at the federal level-yet I read the opposite on here 100 times a day.

Nah. There are more than enough self-haters and religious-haters to hand Democrats 60% minimum of the “Jewish” vote.

Think money and influence.

Zuck bucks bought Georgia - something like 300-400 million to win the presidency and two Senate seats.

Soros money.

Money and influence. Doesn’t matter it’s 6 or so million votes.

Jews run the Democrat party and most of the MSM.

One Las Vegas-style mass shooting of Jews by illegal Muslims = borders closed tomorrow.

Only 60% Jews in New York would be a disaster for the Dems. They need NYC, and if the uptown Jews stay home and keep their checkbooks in their pockets, that means the Orthodox in Brooklyn, Queens, parts of the Bronx and Staten Island, combined with the working-class and upstaters, and blacks and Hispanics who just plain like Trump more now that he’s on trial and making cameo appearances in their neighborhoods, etc., could just tip New York. Plus the amazing talent pool of uptown Jews will not be helping the Brandonistas, because he took nine days before he said squat about their precious darlings being assaulted, and barred from their alma matters. That’s personal. He cared so much about Muslims in Michigan that he took them for granted, putting middle fingers up to them and theirs.

Sweet irony. All these diverse factions could be united to deliver NY, and therefore nationwide electoral victory for Trump! 1980 all over again.

All of that is outdated by recent events. See my last comment.

Great.

The left wing socialist Jew vote that wants open borders is going to be the deciding factor in our election?

We’re so fucked. :(:(:(

Yes. By their absence from New York politics. Dems are trying to gin up fear of Trump, because they cannot gin up enthusiasm for Brandon. In the case of left-wing socialist rich Jews, he has given actual offense with his fecklessness about the anti-Jewish violence on elite campuses. That’s their kids. So it’s personal, not ideological.

Likewise, the warm welcome Trump got in Harlem was personal, not ideological. He’s being persecuted by da man, and he came and gave respect to a fellow victim, prosecuted by the same d!ckwad prosecutor for defending himself.

New York can be tilted on account of personalities, not ideology.

Jewish billionaires like Soros, Zuckerberg, Bezos, Bloomberg have more influence over Jews & Gentiles to sway the election to democrats than the small U.S. Jewish voting block. Glick should acknowledge this.

Any Jew (”Practicing” or not) who votes for the Democratic party at all, deserves to just commit suicide and do us all a favor.

If 100% of the jews voted GOP, which states would flip? About zero.

Try AZ, PA and MI. Those states are already close and a block shift by any identifiable block can change the state. I would also look at NV, VA and WI.

A shift in the Jewish vote in Chicago will not affect where IL electoral votes go, but a shift in the Jewish communities from Madison and Milwaukee will affect WI. The problem is nay sayers blocking outreach and "I told you so" being rather off putting to gaining converts.

Middle East and terrorism, occasional political and Jewish issues Ping List. High Volume If you’d to be on or off, please FR mail me.

Unlikely unless a very close election. Of the 9 states with 3%+ Jewish population only Pennsylvania might be in play. I'll include Florida because of Bush v Gore, but doubt the state is that close today. Related threads

But the big lib Jew $ may stop coming to the Democrats this year!

That would be a great move!

No reason to keep giving money to people when they support those who hate you and want to exterminate you.

That doesn't automatically mean support for Republicans. But it does mean support should be directed to non-Leftist candidates. And those will not be Democrats.

It is getting very late-stage, but there may still be time for changes to matter.

According to what I read around here, soros is a jew in name only.

He supposedly aided the nazis, is paying for the anti jewsprotests etc....

Zuckerberg is a huge problem, yet I read of him being a problem here extremely infrequently.

The jews running the media etc.....have names. I can’t post many because 99% of the material points to jew voting habits and not the actual jews running the corporations.

There aren’t that many and they already live in states that go blue. That being said, they could stop donating to the DNC which would end the political party.
