The devastated fiancé of the Wisconsin elementary school teacher who was arrested for making out with a fifth grader has called off the wedding, one of his friends told The Post.

It is always wrong for a person in authority to use someone else as an object.
A teacher should have his students’ best educational interests in mind as a teacher. A priest or pastor is supposed to have the well-being of his parishioners’ souls and a step-parent the safety and protection of his or her new family as their prime priority.
Engaging in sexual activity with anyone who is a student, parishioner or step child by a teacher, priest or step-parent is a betrayal of the very role of teacher, priest, and step-parent.
But to the point of the thread, having sex with a preteen, well, that’s not a betrayal of the role of teacher, but of the role of a decent human being.
Correct. Sure this stuff happened before on rare occasion, but think that feminism pushing men out of teaching has exacerbated this.

Or ruin their own life. When I was 18, I moved out of my home and rented a room from a 24-year-old divorced woman who had 4 kids. It was a downstairs room with a garage, I wanted the garage so I could work on my cars. Her kids were from relationships with different men. I made it clear to her that there would be nothing between us, just a rental agreement. She came onto me, I pushed her away.
Later on, a 15-year-old friend asked to move in with me because of his abusive alcoholic mother, and I agreed. It didn't take long before he ended up sleeping upstairs with the 24-year-old landlady. He was no naive kid, very savvy for his age. Later on, the woman's sister found out about the affair between them and kicked both of us out. Didn't ruin my life, it was an interesting year, but made me even more wary of floozies. My friend went on to become a brother-in-law, marrying my wife's sister, and he became a SFPD cop.
Colorful story. I once has a similar landlady with less kids. I was weak.

Most primary school teachers have been female for a long time. The principals used to be male. Now they aren’t as likely to be. It’s true that male teachers tended to get driven out because of those kinds of suspicions, but the big change is that teachers aren’t content to be old maids or to marry and leave the job, but all want to be Cosmopolitan Playgirls.

When these types of crimes get reported, I chalk up the comments made when the student is a male in his mid teens, etc as really a window on the upbringing of the person making such comments. It’s not a flattering picture.
At the time I started renting from the 24-year-old landlady, I had a girlfriend. I was 18, girlfriend was 16. I had absolutely no interest in a 24-year-old woman with kids. I was friends with a man across the street who helped me work on my cars. He helped modify my '56 Chevy by installing a straight axle from a late 40's car. During this time, the lady across the street asked me if I wanted to rent a downstairs room with a garage. As I had no garage at my parents' house, I jumped at the opportunity. I was crazy about cars at the time, having the '56 Chevy and a '63 Impala that I souped up, having been in auto shop in high school. Crazy about cars, not women! What was weird, was going upstairs at times and seeing the woman and my teen friend naked on her bed. Some things can't be unseen. My teen friend was a player with girls, lost count of the ones he courted, even at 15 and 16.
No kidding. NO amount of "hot" makes up for that much crazy.
