The Biden administration last week put a hold on a shipment of U.S.-made ammunition to Israel, two Israeli officials told Axios.
Why it matters: It is the first time since the Oct. 7 attack that the U.S. has stopped a weapons shipment intended for the Israeli military. The incident raised serious concerns inside the Israeli government and sent officials scrambling to understand why the shipment was held, Israeli officials said.

You can choose to see homes and civilian infrastructure being destroyed, while choosing not to see Hamas using those homes and hospitals as military command posts and weapons depots. You can choose to see civilian casualties in Gaza while choosing not to see the carnage inflicted on Israelis on Oct. 7th that had no strategic purpose, and choosing not to see Palestinian civilians celebrating that massacre.
But you’re an American first, whose priority isn’t Israel - unless it’s to condemn them for “mistreating” Gazans. Your pretense of neutrality would be more convincing if you didn’t wade into the subject and engage in false equivalencies and one-sided moralizing.

Well if we weren’t forever enmeshed in Israel’s problems as if it were the 51st state than you’d be right I’d have no cause to bother with what they do. But that’s not the case. What Israel is currently doing is having an adverse affect on America’s standing with almost all of the non Western world and this goes against US interests. We’ve now lost our moral authority with all of Africa allowing Russia and China an opening to take over our interests in that region. And that doesn’t even begin to assess the incredible financial costs incurred. Now we have the Israel lobby directly attacking the 1st amendment with their push for HR 6090. I’m sure you’ll overlook that too.
If you choose to worship Israel then that’s your business but don’t expect the rest of us to. You are trying to impose your theological beliefs on the rest of us. Christian Zionism is a minor sect of Christianity and MOST Christians do NOT have the same emotional or religious attachment to Israel you do.

Most Christians don’t accept your biblical interpretation of things. They believe you are taking certain passages out of context. Like I’ve said you’re free to believe what you do but you have no right to force your beliefs on others nor expect them to indulge your beliefs especially since many Christians consider you perspective heretical.

I’m not worshipping Israel, but I’m not going to condemn them when they’re not wrong. I will never attack them for defending their people and trying to defeat an aggressor, an aggressor who’s shown time and time again that they’re uninterested and incapable of co-existing with them.

Not at all. But I’m not going condemn a country for defending its citizens because some Jewish-American leftists are lobbying for a bill that goes over the line. Are you as concerned about Islamic-American activists who want to transform our country and take away your freedoms?
