Has Leftist Lawfare Created the Police State Yet?
American Thinker ^ | May 5, 2024 | Greg Salsbury

But why haven’t we seen more overt objection to this travesty, such as more poster-carrying, angry citizens outside of the Trump trial courtrooms, on campuses, at congressional hearings, and in the streets? Part of the answer to this question has to do with the intended target for the shock and awe. It isn’t Donald Trump. As Trump has correctly observed, he is just in the way. No, the primary targets of the shock and awe are people like you and me. And the left may well have hit their mark.

THe left has hit their mark?

Yep.

And America is about to vote them out. Wholesale.

10 per cent of AMerica will not be allowed to rule as fascists over the other 90 per cent.

They are getting there. Influx of illegals, breaking down society with drugs and crime. Not prosecuting crime. Things will explode, then heavy handed and permanent police state will be ushered in.

The term “lawfare” sounds too neutral, too gentle for the actual crime it represents. It is deliberately a phonetic twin to the term “law fair”, it’s ethical opposite.
I’ve never even seen this term in use before the last six months.

One reason that I didn't see mentioned is that we would be walking into another leftist trap.

Our mainstream media will cheer.

And we will continue to fund them with our TV subscriptions for the privilege of being entertained by them, no matter how many times they lie about us and Trump and incite violence against us.

Prove me wrong.

“The term “lawfare” sounds too neutral, too gentle for the actual crime it represents.”

I have been thinking that too. It just doesn’t have the same impact as “Criminal Conspiracy” which is the true situation.

Deep State has created the police state.

Lawfare is one if its truncheons.

There’s no crowd of angry citizens outside the Trump trial because normal people would rather vacation in Afghanistan than spend a day protesting in New York City.

“I’ve never even seen this term in use before the last six months.”

Turns out it is a military war tactic. Not surprising considering this is all a military state operation on American soil put into place by the MIC.

Leftist Lawfare has been going on since the 1980s. Remember Secretary of Labor Ray Donnovan? Where do I go to get my reputation back? Republican administrations don’t fight back against it. They act as if the charges are legitimate, or that its unseemly to fight them. Remember Bush with Scooter Libby? If Republicans don’t fight back and there are no consequences to the Left, they’ll keep pushing it. They now are so bold that they think it’s OK to cook up charges against the Republican presidential candidate. And don’t think they won’t do it again the next time a Republican not named Trump runs.

I don’t share your optimism.

I believe that Russia DID, in fact, interfere with the 2016 election by inhibiting - intentionally or otherwise - their digital fraud efforts to install shrillary.

It explains why DS has been hellbent upon punishing Russia ever since, evidenced to this day.

And, ironically, the ‘lawfare’ against their prime opposition, DJT, is demonstrable of their desperation.

IMHO, there ought to be great concern over these so-called ‘protests’ ongoing at universities. It’s a brilliant operative dispersal plan for acts yet undefined but could certainly result in declaration of a national emergency if acts are undertaken at locations across the country.

Truth be told, I pray that I am wrong and that you are right, but I gird for the worst.

I think you are correct about Americans being wary of walking in to another leftist trap. But an additional reason is that the majority of us work full time at jobs that keep our country going.

The losers who spend all day protesting or spreading vast amounts of leftist propaganda and being paid to do so by the enemy. They really don’t appear to have anything better to do.

Those of us who couldn’t live with ourselves if we were to stoop that low are busy earning a living, raising a family, looking out for the truly needy in our communities and managing the day to day activities required to live an honest life.

None of that is stopping us from cancelling our TV subscriptions to the leftist media or finding alternatives to the companies that are actively working against us.

Many African Americans who joined the civil rights movement also had to work, and also endured arrests to fight for their rights, and we can't even cancel our TV subscriptions?

I’m not a TV addict. Save the rant for those who are. 😏

My point stands. Working people rarely have time to protest or spread propaganda all day.

I’m not a TV addict.

If you're paying for TV, you're putting money into the coffers of the leftist media who are lying about us and Trump and inciting violence against us, regardless of your habits.

Save the rant for those who are.

That's exactly who I'm saving it for. I did say "we". If you aren't among them, then great. I cut the cord myself because I got tired of paying them to lie to me and about Trump. I don't miss it.

My point stands. Working people rarely have time to protest or spread propaganda all day.

And my point stands. We don't need to be out there protesting. We just need to stop pouring money into the coffers of the media and tech firms that are working against us. If you're already doing that, then that's great, we need more of you.
