Changing genders is impossible. It simply cannot be done. Every molecule in a person’s body would have to be changed. It’s all pretend nonsense. A mental illness, yes. A possibility, no.

Transgenderism is a mental disease. The suicide attempt rate among transgender persons ranges from 32% to 50%. Unless one is in terminal pain from disease suicide by definition is a mental disease. The suicide rate of transgenders that underwent surgical procedures to alter their gender (it does not) is 20 times greater than the normal population. It is a mental disease.

Performing transgender surgery on a confused child is an abomination and evil. Most of them grow out of it after puberty. Some do not and once they are legally an adult what they do with their body is their legal right, but foolish.

In my work in hospitals I worked with quite a few openly gay men and a few gay women. They openly said they were attracted to the same sex. They did not flaunt their preferred sexuality but just did their job. With rare exceptions they were excellent workers. They did not go around professing that they were oppressed nor discriminated against. They just did their jobs. The best nurse I worked with was gay and a very attractive woman. I liked working with her because she was damn good at her job. If she was straight I would have asked her for a date but I hate rejection. :)
