The Trudeau regime has introduced an Orwellian new law called the Online Harms Bill C-63, which will give police the power to retroactively search the Internet for ‘hate speech’ violations and arrest offenders, even if the offence occurred before the law existed.
This new bill is aimed at safeguarding the masses from so-called “hate speech.”

This sounds like the idiocy that was passed in Scotland recently. This plague is going on across EU & UK. Of course, it’ll all be in the eye-of-the-beholder and applied unevenly. No leftists will be considered in violation, only those that have common sense and a view in reality will be punished.

The hope up here is that a Poilievre gov’t would repeal this law.
But I wouldn’t bet on it.

The whole “hate speech” thing couldn’t help but take us down a bad road. What is hate speech and who determines what it is? I follow a Three Stooges page on FB. People have claimed they got sent to FB jail for quoting one of Moe’s famous lines: “Remind me to kill you later.” Sounds pretty hateful, eh?

The question first is will the NDP support this bill? I would hope it is an actual conservative party and as such Poilievre would smack it down, but who knows. Our so called conservative party is also pro-abortion, so....
