People are not monolithic regardless of what category you ascribe to them. Kind of what caused Christianity to splinter into 10s of thousands of different denominations.

As a point of order, oftentimes this IS the issue, they bring it up. They “wear” their sex or religion or ethnicity as a shield, and claim they cannot be criticized because of it.
Remember all the apologists for Mrs. Clinton “you don’t like her because she’s a woman”. Obama, same thing only because he’s black, sort of.
Leftists are pros at this. They even trot little kids out publicly to spout comlete lies and BS, and then claim they are “off limits” for criticism because they are children.
These tactics are also poison. It’s almost like we should treat people as individuals, without regard to national origin or ethnicity or sex. You know, equality under the law.

You are incorrect. There is a certain category of Jew who loves to wear their Jewish heritage on their sleeve when it is convenient, but at all other times criticizes and does what they can to bring shame upon their religion and their people. Those are what are called “self-hating” Jews. As a Jew, I absolutely loathe these people. They are trying to take both sides and instead make themselves and other Jews look like fools when they do so.
Not all Jews are religious. And shame? That’s in the eye of the beholder.
Expecting everyone who appears in a particular man made group to think the same way is a cancer.
