I have noticed this pope does not talk much about abortion and right-to-life matters. Does he secretly wish the Catholic Church allowed abortion?
He has said that many in the Church devote too much attention to the subject of abortion. I cannot see into his heart but some people in the Church seem to be embarrassed by those they consider to be "unsophisticated" on various subjects -- traditions, "counting rosaries" and such.
