I think we have both. IMHO, I would call any taliban fighter captured in battle a POW who should be repatriated when we are finished with this "war. However, those who were actively involved in Al Quida or trained in any of their camps are guilty of more than fighting for their government. These people are terrorists and should be considered detainees. I don't think it is very prudent to release terrorist trained fundamentalists.

I think you are right. The question is, what do we do with the Al-Qaeda boys? Can we put them on trial? In what court? Do we have enough evidence to find them guilty and execute them or put them away forever?

Some Freepers disagree with me, but I believe that EVERYONE deserves a fair trial.
