Gee, I guess that Ark sitting on top of a 14,000 foot mountain in Turkey is a myth, that's why Islamic Turkey is so presistent about not letting anybody up there to have a look.

Exactly. They find scientific proof, yet they refuse to admit it's real, just keep on insisting it's all a 'myth'.
We have all lived through 3 major catastrophes in this country: Bubba's 1st election, Bubba's 2nd election, and the election of the Hildabeast.

There was actually an expedition to Mount Alamut where they thought they had found the ark of Noah. And when the scientists and archeologists arrived there they discovered that there was not such ship matter whatsoever.

Thus the turks must have other reasons for sealing off mt Alamut, maybe for national security reasons(since Turkey is under a lot of Islamic threats due to it being an extremely moderate Islamic nation, actually more moderate than many European countries). They are not protecting Noah's ark!

And as a person pointed out, the floods depicted in this article took place quite recently(from a hostorical perspective). The article says that in the Indian case the building were built between 1500 to 2000 years ago, and obviously the floods took place after their being built otherwise they would not have been affected by flooding.

Thus they were built around the time Christ was born, more or less. And, if Noah's flood did happen, i happened LONG before the birth of Christ!

IMHO i think what happened here is some widespread flooding that totally shocked the local populace, but clearly not a worldwide flood.

And as an interesting aside. It was noted by scholars that there are Babylonian stories that are doppelgangers of the story in Genesis, that were dated long before the Pentatauch (the first five books written by Moses...eg Genesis, Deuteronomy etc) were written. And to them the story of a flood is based on the Babylonian legends. Not my point but theirs!
