Lately I seem to be spending more time visiting Blogs than perusing FreeRepublic. I don't know precisely why except that I do get annoyed with some of the obnoxious jerks that post here.
James Lileks is highly recommended. His "Screeds" (part of the daily Bleat) are outstanding. If you want to laugh until you cry, visit some of the locations contained within "the INSTITUTE of OFFICIAL CHEER". I recommend "The Gallery of Regrettable Food" and "The Dorcus Collection" as starting points.
James Lileks Bump! He used to be syndicated in the Newark (red)Star Ledger but was dropped when Paul Mulshine came to town. Hard to compete with Paul but Lileks is great!
