Since Brinkley left long ago, that show has been George Will and the three blind mice.

Arthur Levett is saying that Pitts is highly qualified, but he has a problem with media.

Tony's response was, "but you have not mentioned how he is doing his job."

Tony Snow hit Commerce Secretary Donald L. Evans with some pretty tough questions and Don handled them all very well. I was impressed.

All the wailing is pure, unadulterated B/S politics. In other words, the democrats need to "get" Bush and they think this is the way. Of course, their lap dogs in big media are there to aid and abet, as they want to "get" Bush, too.

Really, can anyone think the democrats, after 8 years of Clinton/Gore illegal/immoral fund-raising, really now suddenly care about the little guy and the average stockholder? And the press? Hah! Many here said they'd start up "investigative journalism" after an 8-year hiatus. And now they have. Politics is what it's all about. We should all be writing letters, calling call-in shows, to stress this. God knows the democrats wrote and called to constantly remind the sheeple that it's "only about sex" during the late '90's.

Yeah, we keep hearing about WorldCom, Enron, and Halliburton, but Global Crossing is the relative none of the pols want to talk about. Combine that with McAuliffe's problems with his less than stellar lending record as a banker and that could be tied around the Dem's necks to show the frauds they really are if it's pushed properly.

George Will tried to say on the air last month that the problem was Homosexuality in the Church. Sam and Kookie "shouted him down" according to the article.-----

If anyone does take time to watch Sam & Cokie 'interact' with George Will, notice how they do not let George finish a sentence. They are so TOTALLY uninterested in any thoughts he may have that they can't wait until he has completed his point.

I have not seen either Sam or Cokie do this to George S or to any of the NYT interns that they put in the chair opposite George Will.

BINGO!

Have you seen that cartoon where GW is depicted as the Road Runner, and the Media is Wile E. Coyote, motioning with his paw for the DNC to drop an ENRON boulder on him?

Beep Beep!

What the hell is McCain thinking? Some one should recuse themselves because they think his CFR law is unconstitutional? It is and he has just proven himself once again to be a meglomaniac that needs to be thrown out on his a$$.

The Prez is a truly good man. He is also politically astute and knows politics is the art of the possible. Like many of us, I don't like some of the accomodations that have been made, but I want our guys to stay in power, so I can live with it. I have great hopes for the second 4 years.

"Of course, if you wanted to fine-tune the attacks not to sound like you're totally anti-business, you could blame Martha, Enron and the rest on Nineties boom culture, but, given that Bill Clinton spent eight years taking credit for that, it's hard to see why it's now Bush's fault."

"Democrats have been overreaching to create that magical feeling that fraud within American corporations can be blamed on President Bush and Vice President Cheney. The mere suggestion might help them win congressional seats this year. Paul Beckner, president of Citizens for a Sound Economy responded in an article entitled A Tragic Failure of Leadership. It is Bill Clinton's fault after all. "

Pitchfork Pat just said he didn't blame Arafat for not signing the 2000 Camp David agreement. He also said the Intifada was caused by Sharon's visit to the Temple Mount.

I liked the tribute to Barbara Olsen. C-SPAN named a chair in her honor. She was on the program a week or so before 9-11.

Pitt's is doing an outstanding job explaining his role at SEC director.

He spoke plain telling Russert that this is being used by politicians to promote their own agenda. When Russert asked who, he told him,"For one the people who ran that commerical on NBC affaliates and other network channels."

Russert hit him with everything he had in the liberal media.

Pitt's withstood the onslaught with facts.
