Heh ... next war, I think we shouldn't allow rebetting when our original date passes eight months early. We're just all quickly coalescing around the perfect moment.
I wonder if a mathematician couldn't take the thousand-plus guesses already made and plot a centralized "Average Date/Time." Then we could see how close our mass semieducated (very semi) guess was to reality.

Since I usually fast from sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday. I was in the middle of my fast when I felt as if I had a prophetic insight. In January when I pressed for an actually time, logic stepped in. At which time I posted this:

Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at 9:30 P.M. EST according to President Bush.
Do you agree with this as the official time?
Who would you say is the winner of the Attack on Iraq Betting Pool?
I was assuming that the attack would begin with a massive bombardment of Baghdad. Perhaps there should also be a winner in the "shock and awe" category?
