Its producer, Kate Botting, said the spinal problem emerged as FBI investigators sought some answers to the theory that Tutankhamun was murdered.

Huh?

Well, if they can figure out who killed King Tut, perhaps they can find out who killed Chandra Levy.

"His head is like it's on a broomstick or a poker," the researcher explained. "So that if he fell backward or there was a blow to the back of his head - a serious spinal cord injury at that level."

Wheww, sounds like a case of Trent's Lottitis... in this case, there is a spine, tho' ;.

Yes, some people suggest Akhenaton had Marfans, judging from his likeness as represented in sculpture and drawing.

An odd sort, in more ways than one. I've always thought him a brilliant and tragic figure.

Bob Brier (whose appearance on the Discovery special would come as no surprise) has written an excellent, readable, accessible book on the subject.

What will all the people on this forum, who have constantly responded with hate and vitriol to anybody who dared claim that at the very least there was a large percentage of black Egyptians, have to say now. What twists and knots will they turn themselves into trying to explain this. Some will even claim" Why, gee, it looks like Captain Picard", just as they do in their delusional belief that Kenniwick man is European.

"He lived in very turbulent times"

Doesn't every period of History qualify as "Turbulent Times"?As if it was more turbulent 1300 years ago than the Islamic War that has been thrust upon us today. More Primitive? O.K. I can accept that, but more turbulent,I have to disagree. It's also interesting to note that my acquaintance Alex at our local adult beverage establishment, thought he saw himself on TV yesterday,He's a splitting image of that picture and was hearing about it from everyone yesterday and not happy about it.
