'Sextionary' Defines Planned Parenthood's Agenda for Teens

(CNSNews.com) - In an attempt to prevent America's youth from depending on "unreliable sources" for "life-saving" sexual health information, Planned Parenthood Federation of America has launched its 'Sextionary' to serve as the Internet's authoritative sex education destination.

Utilizing cartoon-like animation to depict sexually oriented issues in a "fun" manner, Planned Parenthood boasts that the Sextionary "engages teens in a process that allows them to learn about sexuality." And, the pro-abortion group assures young visitors that it's providing "sexuality and relationship information that you can trust."

The Sextionary offers teens a variety of interactive options that attempt to define a wide array of sexual health terms and issues that Planned Parenthood claims are "commonly misunderstood." Visitors are prompted to click a puzzle icon to play "Games," a movie camera to view "Movies," and a treasure chest to take "Quizzes."

Homosexual Advocacy Games

The only one way to win the game entitled, "Jim Dandy and His Very Gay Day," is to agree with Planned Parenthood's pro-homosexual agenda.

According to an animated alien that narrates the game, "Being gay is a little like being left-handed; it's not something that you choose, it's simply the way you are. And the way you are is perfectly fine, no matter which hand you write with, no matter who you're attracted to."

In order to progress to the next level in this game, players are given unlimited opportunities to select the "correct" answer to questions such as: "People who are sexually attracted to people of both genders are often called ..."

Upon selecting "Bisexuals," teens are rewarded with the knowledge that: "Having crushes on and having sex with both guys and girls is perfectly normal. People who are attracted to people of both genders sometimes call themselves 'bisexual.'"

Movies With a Message

Planned Parenthood offers seven unique short films that deal with issues concerning homosexuality; HIV and AIDS; abstinence and peer pressure; sexually transmitted infections; and contraception.

Planned Parenthood peer educators wrote "Lipstick" as a short documentary celebrating a high school girl's courage to be open about her homosexuality. "\plain\lang1024\f2

Emily's a lot like her high school friends, but she steps out from the pack when she introduces them to her girlfriend," the preview states.

Another featured film entitled, "The Monster," attempts to give teens a "glimpse into the world of guys" by highlighting issues dealing with the stigma attached to HIV status. Planned Parenthood notes that the informational movie was written by incarcerated youth at Rikers Island, N.Y.

Pro-Abortion Quiz

The "Facts About Abortion Quiz" offers an opportunity for guys and girls to test their knowledge and "learn some important information about abortion."

Question: "Worldwide, how many women will have an abortion by the time they are 45 years old?"

Answer: "Nearly half of all women will have an abortion by the time they are 45 years old. About five million women in the U.S. become pregnant every year. Half of those pregnancies are unintended, and 1.2 million end in abortion."

Question: "If I decide to have an abortion, do I have to tell my parents about my decision, or get their permission?"

Answer: "While more than half of the teenagers who choose abortion talk about it with at least one parent, telling a parent is only required in states with mandatory parental involvement laws. The Supreme Court has ruled, however, that there must be another option to parental notification or consent for a minor. It is called 'judicial bypass.' In judicial bypass, a judge can either rule that the young woman is mature enough to make this decision without a parent's consent, or that she is not mature enough to make this decision without informing them."

'Sesame Street With Sex'

Andrea Lafferty, executive director of the Traditional Values Coalition, said Planned Parenthood's Sextionary is "the kind of thing they would do on Sesame Street ... but Sesame Street with sex."

Lafferty said she was outraged when she clicked on a "factoid" intended to provide teenage boys with in-depth information about "performance anxiety," a term defined as the "fear of being unable to please a partner sexually."

"I would love to take this 'performance anxiety' clip and show it to parents across the country and see what they say," Lafferty said. "It reinforces the point that we've made that Planned Parenthood is about promoting sex. They're sex peddlers."

Lafferty condemned Planned Parenthood for "desensitizing" teenagers to the seriousness of sex.

"They think that they're cute," she said. "I think most parents would be shocked by this."

It's possible that I think even less of them than you do. We'll have to flip for it.

Well, I think they are liberal dens of iniquity. With only a couple of engineering and medical professions most of what they teach is useless. I am even more disgusted with colleges and their affect on the Church. In most of todays churches, which are as evil as corporate america regarding college qualifications, the Lord Jesus Christ and John the Baptist and most of the apostles would not be 'qualified' to preach. OK top that. :-D

Here in the wonderful state of New York, the State University of New York/ New paltz. (Hereafter known as SUNY New Paltz.) Had a wonderful symposium not too long ago that was supposed to 'teach' people about the 'wonders of S&M, Bondage, Fisting, Beastiality, and Homosexual&Bi sex.'

These brainiacs also wanted to teach this to fourth graders.
They had a curriculum all written out and ready to go a few years back. It was de-railed at the last minute by a group of parents who rightly didn't want their fourth graders to know how to perform fellatio. Among other things.

So, this isn't exactly a new approach to the warping of our children.

I think that's all the liberal agenda is about, except who will pay for their welfare checks while they play.

OK. Let's start at the top. Any education which claims to address the truth about man (and what men should know) without addressing theology is a lie. It is an especially effective lie because it is very insidious, insidious because it is concealed behind the methodology of the university. The big-lie of college is hidden in its assumptions: that a "well-rounded" education addresses "fact-based" sciences while deliberately ignoring subjects that are based on a "student's personal prejudices" (i.e. religion). Most students attending college are not trained to analyze arguments so they are especially vulnerable to lies like this hidden in methodology.

So what organizing principle replaces the principle that education should serve to equip man in his vocation of knowing, loving and serving God in this world and being eternally happy with Him in the next? In practice the answer is: anything and everything. The modern university is like a chicken with its head cut off. It moves without rhyme or reason.

Professor Allan Bloom said that the only belief that students entering his classroom shared in common was the belief that "there is no such thing as objective truth." This is the only logical/intuitive conclusion that a college student can draw based on the fact that there is no science overarching all others. And once the very existence of intellectual truth is questioned, the existence of eternal moral truths cannot be far behind.

In the realm of ethics then, Christian morality is replaced with moral relativism. College campuses are plagued with drug and alcohol abuse and sexual promiscuity. In addition to their habitual indifference to the idea of truth, students develop sinful habits that are difficult to unlearn and can stay with them for life.

Not here. I give to the Salvation Army. I always have. They do the meals on wheels, soup kitchens, and winter shelters from donations. They're always there to help....for free.

By the way, I write left handed, and haven't a scintilla of use for those who legitimize Degeneracy.

Same here, on both counts.

"Give me your children and I'll have them for life" -- Stalin.
That's why the left wing Socialists use every lie they can think of to stop school choice. It's not the students they care for - it's the Socialist revolution that's their goal. The students are pawns for Marx.
That's also why they'll fight to the end to stop Constitutional judges from getting on the bench.

Planned Parenthood is SICK.

But let us not forget, Planned Parenthood may be the world's biggest aborter of children but it will continue to receive millions of our federal tax dollars.

Planned Parenthood even maintains a website called Roe v. Bush. Will Bush defund this group that openly campaigns against him, that spent millions to defeat him, and that is already campaigning against his future Supreme Court appointments?

http://www.roevbush.com/

Now that the Republicans are in complete control, will they stop my tax dollars from going to this group that not only hates the unborn, but hates the GOP?

The man who discipled me 15 years ago had a hatred for colleges too. He didn't say it as pretty as you, in fact to quote from Blazing Sadles "You use yer tongue pertier than a 5 dollar French ho", but he warned me that they just seem only to exist to deny the existance of the Lord.

When I took a philosophy class taught by an athiest many of the people in my baptist church tried to talk me into dropping the class. They didn't realize how tennacious my doctrine is but the thought was sure sweet. OK, I think I have to submit to your superior dis bucause I don't don't think I can top it without defaulting to profanity. ;-D

They should pass a bill that says NO tax dollars go to ANYTHING that gets involved in politics AT ALL. Just like the Churches.
Our tax dollars are going to support that which we do not endorse. It's theft! It seems unconstitutional.
BUSH....get those judges on the bench ASAP!

They tried - it was called the Vitter amendment and attempts were made to put it on many pieces of legislation. Dems obstructed and it would always get hacked out of legislation during committee.
