This pleases me no end. The phone lines must be burning up right now; shrinks are being paged in droves in the middle of the night.

I wasn't too thrilled with the Yao/"yo" ad either!
I know we have ignorant people like that in NYC...
but they rarely get a job like that.
Most business' in NYC want to give a good account of the city!!
And for the record, we are very nice in NYC, we are just in a hurry all the time!!
If I stopped to say hi/hello/how are you to everyone I passed it would take me 3 months to get home at night!!
It is a time thing, if you are ever really stuck a New Yorker will hook you up!!

The screen actors guild says that we shouldn't boycot "stars" that are anti American and anti war. The guild says it would be a return of McCarthyism. I say it is a right here in America to protest anything we see as wrong.
These pampered actors and actresses are biting the hand that made them rich. I for one will refuse to pay anything to watch these dumbasses that portray the U.S. in a bad light.
I hope all you corps. out there hear this message and deal accordingly.
Not only will I boycott products that are plugged by these shameful buttheads, I will protest them when I see them. That goes for politicians too.

THAT Slycraft.com has a new product, "The Surrender Flag," which Americans can buy as a gift for Saddam Hussein's Republican Guard. The $10 price includes a lapel pin which states "I Give Up," and shipping to Baghdad "as long as that remains a viable address" Made in France.

Good. Now we have to concentrate on that low-life retard Danny Glover, the man with the mushroom brain, and his MCI gigs.

It takes an army of FReepers to counter 1 propagandist. The power of propaganda has gone unchallenged until recently. Propaganda is not subjected to the marketplace of ideas, hence the popularity of FreeRepublic and talk radio. They are real eye-openers exposing the vastness of the vacuous.

Now if we can just get Lipton Tea to drop the Dixie Chicks. It's a more egregious situation than that of Sheen----we expect no less of Hollyweirdos than snooty disdain of their nation and its people. But for people to make their living off of country music fans and then to go to other countries and insult America is beyond the pale. West Wing fans know what they're getting and evidently support being spoon-fed liberal politics in contrived dramatic situations, so Sheen isn't going to turn them off to Visa. But Dixie Chicks fans, I argue, are roughly the same set as Toby Keith and Darryl Worley and Charley Daniels fans---patriots all. I'll bet the overwhelming majority of both Dixie Chick fans and of Lipton Tea drinkers oppose American entertainers getting in front of Europeans and trashing America.

Shrill Sheen loses TV ad gig
Nothing like hurting this mental midget in his wallet.
Great job freepers!

I thought the Martin/Charlie Sheen commercial was funny, at least the first few times I saw it.
Still didn't get me to ditch my MasterCard for Visa...advertisers really count too much on star power to sell their products.
To: kattracks
A rep for ad agency BBDO referred all calls to Visa, which denied that the commerical's termination had anything to do with Sheen's politics. Ahhh, so we can *keep* slamming Visa, then.
"While these celebrities play a role in our spots, they in no way represent the views of Visa."
So, would Visa hire Charles Manson?
