Jerusalem Post Reporter Caroline B. Glick told Fox Television News in an interview today that "morale is extremely high" among soldiers of the US 3rd Infantry Division operating in southern Iraq.
"The men are just spectacular fighters. They know what they're fighting for is important. Looking along the Euphrates River, Iraq is a country with a lot of potential under the proper leadership," said Glick, who is accompanying the troops on their mission in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
On Sunday the soldiers captured a suspected chemical weapons plant near the town of Najaf, some 150 kilometers south of Baghdad. The exclusive Jerusalem Post report has been widely reported by the world media, and given prominence on Israeli radio and television stations. Israel has been on a chemical warfare alert since the onset of the war last week, fearing Iraq could unleash nonconventional weapons as part of its resistance against coalition forces.

She has seen lots of Islamic attrocities where she lives and appreciates those who are willing to face the evil of Islam.
Beyond that, I am super impressed with the 3rd ID. All our trooops deserve our respect and thanks.
However.... if she turns you down, give her my son's phone #.
Back to the issues. I have been living and sleeping in front of the TV the past 5 days, but left it for a while tonight. I didn't hear Carolyn Glick. I was just impressed that she wanted to be there covering the war in spite of the legal risks she faced. Too bad she is an airhead. Wonder if we could get any of the Hollywood airheads to go over there for photo ops.
She sticks to reporting things she knows and avoids idiotic questions, and she obviously understands the war, who she is with, what it is about, how it is going, etc. Three quarters of the international press can't begin to say any of that. In fact, the only one so far I've noticed (among the media types, mind, not the experts) is conspicuously smarter in the coverage to date is Tony Snow.
